Efes Restaurant

First time we went to Efes we had amazing food and a good time which is what made us go back. Unfortunately the same standards were not kept during our second visit. We ordered cold mezze which was overall good but the Russian salad had so much mayonnaise it felt like the veggies was the topping. For mains we got iskender and Ali Nazik. My partners food was okay but too much sauce and too little eggplant and shish kebab. My food was majority little cubed up bread and some lamb doner bread unfortunately and some of it was stale too (both meat and bread). The table was attacked by flies (but we understand that during these heatwave that was expected, nonetheless very off putting having to stop your meal ever 5 seconds to keep the flies away). Table got cleared way too late (I’m a waitress myself, when the customer puts al dishes to the side of the table is a sign) and even the tea on the house wouldn’t make us stay there longer. Respectfully. Not a place to go back to, but definitely will give it a chance again in the faaaaaar future. Additionally on the menu it says service charge is included on the bill but the actual bill didn’t say if there’s any service charge or not so me and my partner where trying to look at the bill trying to figure that out and the waiters kept looking our way and talking to each other (which made us a bit uncomfortable).

I visited Efes Restaurant today and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that were both satisfying and excellent value for money. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The staff made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Efes Restaurant to anyone looking for great food, a warm atmosphere, and excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning!

Excellent place to enjoy great Turkish cuisine. The lamb is delicious, well-spiced and perfectly cooked, and the staff really makes you feel welcome. A delightful discovery!!!

Paid nearly £18 for a chicken shish to takeaway i think the world has gone nuts. It used to be £15 but don’t worry you get this fancy bag with it. Chicken was overcooked, the service is and always has been very poor apart from the chefs at least they smile & 9 times out of 10 your most likely to get a parking ticket.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. A special thank you to Ronny, who provided outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His warm and professional attitude made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the delicious food and excellent customer service. We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere was very cozy, the server was really friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! Their specialty tea was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend it!

Love coming to Efe’s. The food is amazing and they never disappoint with beautiful and friendly customer service. Rony is such a delight! Yea is superb!
