Cafe Cecilia

Had a fantastic solo lunch at Café Cecilia today. Started with the mince on fried bread with horseradish crème fraîche, which was rich, comforting and full of flavour. For the main, I had the onglet with peppercorn sauce and chips – perfectly cooked, incredibly tasty and exactly the kind of dish that reminds you why simple food done well is so satisfying. To finish, I tried the Guinness bread ice cream, which was unique, balanced and a great way to end the meal. The food was excellent throughout, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. A wonderful lunch and a restaurant that fully lived up to its reputation. I’ll definitely be back.

Very cozy restaurant next to canal in a new build. Simple inside, but with tasty food and great selection of vine. Perfect for a cozy date or casual dinner. Though it is popular, so it might have since to reserve a table. And try their steaks and pasta. It is really good.

Really fun vibey place, and the staff were great. Anchovy fritti and scallops amazing. The lemon sole was missable. Definitely need to invest in aircon though, it was almost unbearably hot inside with the open kitchen.

I’ve had breakfast at Cafe Cecilia at least 4 times and now lunch twice. It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in London. I will never stop singing the praises of the waiting staff and chefs. A MUST visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable meal.

Went for a birthday meal and it was absolutely amazing. Service was top tier, dishes were delicious and portions were generous. Would be back in a heartbeat!

Nice ambience in local Havk du hangout with greta proximity to the canal and Broadway market. All dishes of nice quality, perhaps a little bit steeply priced, but service is really friendly and welcoming. A great neighbourhood restaurant to return to. - Value for money? Somewhat - Worth a detour? No - Best for (occasion)? A local night out - Would I go back? Yes

One of the best food we had in London. That mackerel was something different (I thought I hate mackerel before trying at yours), that cabbage.. everytng was amazing. Worth every minute of the delay we had in Central Line. Also thank you to the reception team who were very kind and helpful to send the menu to us via e-mail so that we don’t miss the kitchen. Thank you! Can’t wait to come again!!!

Pretty good food. Went for breakfast which I don't think is where they shine. Would love to return for lunch or dinner! Food was simple, toast was definitely well fired. Would've loved to see some more traditional Irish food than toast, porridge, or kippers. Nice enough though. Highly recommend reserving a table but it's more reliable to phone than book online.
