Animal Ark and Kayleigh were amazing. Luna was treated like a prince and the aftercare is exemplary. Their price is so reasonable. He even got chipped and castrated for under £100. I would highly recommend this vet service. Kayleigh explained how it went and after care surgery , even giving him a cone and meds Max, our cat never revived such service from the vet I took him 10 years ago.i was shocked how good this service was.. Thank you all so much. Luna is doing well eating and up and about.

Visitor notes
Such a lovely practice. Saw a wonderful vet Dr Ri, I am doggie sitting and took the dog for a consultation as had severe scratching. Such a lovely gentle vet, thorough consultation everything was thoroughly explained. Would highly recommend and sensible prices.
We visited Animal Ark Vets on Monday for our cat Monty’s vaccination. The vet, Aysen was so efficient and thorough. Monty had become very stressed (always the case when he’s been on a car journey) and Aysen carefully checked his heart and waited for Monty to relax a little before his injection. A lovely, caring vet. Thank you.
A friend highly recommended Animal Ark to me as they are now independently owned and I had my first appointment there yesterday. I had a really positive experience, firstly I had my daughters dog with me and my dog, a lovely kind nurse Kaylee came out to help me bring them in due to my disability. The reception team were also very friendly and greeted us like friends, I love the idea of keeping cats and dogs in separate areas, even though some cat owners chose to stay upstairs. I saw Ri and Dara, who treated us like they've known us for years, the dogs loved them as much as they both loved the dogs, Dara I'm sorry my boy sent you flying with his enthusiastic hug, and Ri I'm sorry about both giving you enthusiastic kisses, you were both amazing with my boy who's been a bit unsure about vets lately after his stay at another vet recently and he got prodded and poked with needles but he trusted you which ment so much to me. I would also like to add that Animal Ark is also disabled friendly and they have customers parking, even tho it took me over an hour to get there i will/ already have been recommending this practice to my local area. Thank you every one for the pleasant experience, I wish you all much success
I have been a client of Animal Ark since it first opened and I originally joined because Lyndon, the founder and owner, genuinely cared about my pets. There was empathy, consistency and a clear sense that animal welfare came first. Back then, this was easily a 5-star practice. Since the takeover by Linnaeus, it has gone rapidly downhill. What was once a caring, personal service now feels like a conveyor belt. There is no continuity, no relationship with a consistent vet, and no sense that your pet is anything more than the next appointment to get through. You’re not building trust—you’re just being processed. Trying to contact the practice is frustrating to the point of being ridiculous. Long hold times are the norm and on several occasions I’ve been left waiting 10–15 minutes even after someone has answered the phone. It shows a complete lack of organisation and respect for clients’ time. But the most alarming issue is the billing. The invoices are unclear, poorly presented and regularly need to be broken down by reception just to understand what you’re being charged for. Even more concerning, I have had to challenge and correct charges after they’ve been explained. That should be a massive red flag for any client. If I hadn’t questioned it, I would have simply overpaid—how many others are doing exactly that without realising? This is what happens when a once excellent, independent practice is swallowed by a corporate machine. The personal care disappears, standards slip and everything starts to feel driven by targets and revenue rather than genuine concern for the animals. In short, this practice has lost everything that made it good in the first place. What remains is an impersonal, inefficient service with questionable billing and no real accountability. Deeply disappointing.
Would not take Cody anywhere else. Animal Ark Team are always considered and willing to go the extra mile to put us at ease when we have concerns.
My cat was vaccinated but I was not given a vaccination booklet. I didn’t realise one should be provided until another vet asked for it at my next appointment (well I assumed she was a vet). I asked for an appointment card as I can be quite forgetful, but I was assured I would receive a reminder text message instead. I never received the text. When I asked if a vaccination booklet could be provided at the next visit- when my cat received the second dose, I was told it needed to be signed by a vet and no vet was available. This made me question who administered the second dose. I had assumed it was a vet, but it may have been a nurse, in any case they could have introduced themselves. I also signed up for a flea treatment subscription and was told it would be posted to me every 3 months. However at my appointment I was told it needs to be applied monthly. Overall I’m not satisfied with the service I’ve received and have concerns about how things have been handled.
This is the WORST vet I’ve ever been to, they ran loads of unnecessary tests when the issue with my pet was simple and straightforward. Took her to another vet who identified the issue immediately and gave treatment for it, don’t waste your time or money on this good for nothing vet. They do not care about your pet, just their wallets. I sent a complaint email which they took over two weeks to reply to, but when I cancelled my pet contract with them, they were very quick to send me multiple emails throughout the day, demanding I send the remaining balance. I hope this “business” gets shut down.
