Kervan Sofrasi - Wood Green

This was our fifth time visiting this restaurant, and just like every other visit, everything was excellent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. The portion sizes, food quality, and prices are all genuinely impressive and offer great value for money. For the two of us, we ordered the Ali Nazik and the Mixed Kebab. The complimentary sides that come with the meal included a large bowl of fresh salad and a delicious bowl of cucumber yogurt. Paired with the freshly baked bread made in-house, it tasted absolutely amazing. Don’t forget to definitely try the complimentary Turkish tea served in their narrow-waisted glasses after your meal, along with baklava or trileçe. We went to Kervan Sofrasi Wood Green for breakfast and had a really lovely experience. We ordered the Breakfast for 2, and it was genuinely impressive, a big, generous portion with a great variety of items, all fresh and nicely presented. For the price, it’s excellent value, especially considering that Turkish tea is included, which was a really nice touch and made the meal feel even more authentic. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly without being intrusive. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy the food, and feel looked after. Everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. Overall, a great spot for a hearty breakfast with plenty to share. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back again.

We had a great time having dinner today at Kervan Sofrasi. It was recommended by a family member and was a great recommendation. Booked table on call a day before and just 30 mins ago we updated our booking which was accepted without any issues. We ordered two of their jumbo platters and 9.of us adults could not finish it. The food was rich of flavours and fresh. Service.also good. They were sooper busy yet serving with smile and attentive. Very clean place and ambiance was also very good. Yes, I do recommend and will visit again. Oh yeah, the pricing is very reasonable for such a nice food. Lestt the £250 for 9 people. It was bargain. This also includes drinks.

Had a great experience at Kervan Sofrasi. The atmosphere was amazing, warm, welcoming and very enjoyable. The food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Liliana gave the best customer service, she was friendly, attentive and made us feel very well looked after during the whole visit. Highly recommend Kervan Sofrasi and we will definitely be coming back.

I really do not understand how this place has lower ratings. The food is phenomenal - super flavorful, perfectly portioned, rightly priced. I’ve been to a ton of Turkish Restaurants and none meet Kervan’s food standards. Also the service and atmosphere are great. Perfect for any occasion - date night, dinner with friends, after event meal, family gatherings. Kervan is legit one of my favorite restaurants and they deserve better ratings. I’ll die on this hill.

I’ve been here several times and it never fails to surprise me. Food is always hot and fresh, however the flavour profile is often not consistent. Sometimes too salty sometimes too bland. But normally it’s quite nice with generous portions and beautiful presentation.

This was our second celebration here, and once again it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, as always, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Liliana looked after our table, and she was absolutely brilliant. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our experience truly exceptional and went above and beyond our expectations. We can't wait to come back!

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant and have always enjoyed my visits, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I ordered a family platter, but the staff served me the wrong one. I didn’t realise the mistake until I received the bill, which was much higher than I expected. I politely explained that the bill was incorrect because I had ordered a different platter. The staff took the issue to the manager, but instead of listening and trying to resolve the problem, the manager was very rude. He told me that I should have checked what I was eating before finishing the meal. I explained that it was the restaurant’s mistake because they served me the wrong platter, but he continued speaking to me in an angry and disrespectful manner. Mistakes can happen, and I understand that. However, the way the manager treated me was completely unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I expected a sincere apology and a reasonable solution, not to be blamed for a mistake made by the restaurant. Sadly, because of the poor customer service and the manager’s attitude, I will think twice before returning.
