Me and my partner had such a great time and the food service was great! I want to take the time to thank the chef and all the staff at La Gioconda who made our valentines day extra special thank you all so much we will be back 100% and i think more people should taste and experience what we did thanks AJ from the Adewales
A simple and cozy restaurant with what it feels like a home prepared Italian meal in a good sense, of course! Definitely worth a visit. Price is very accessible for London standards and you can get variations of pizza, pastas and desserts. Definitely going back!
We're locals and live close by. We love coming here for cosy vibes and just reliably great pastas and pizzas at a reasonable price! Definitely come here if you're looking for great portions, wonderful flavours and homey vibes :)
We popped into la gioconda while walking in the heatwave. It was such a lovely treat. The staff were so welcoming and even made us a frozen strawberry daiquiri! We had the prawns and some bruschetta that was incredible. I highly recommend visiting
This has become a firm favourite for me and my partner. It may not have the fancy tablecloths or Tomo or the other restaurants in Hornsey but in my mind it's one of the very very best . The food is staggeringly good. Authentic home made pastas, the ravioli is exquisite, and I mean high end restaurant exquisite. A perfect balance of flavours, texture and seasonings a real treat. Please do yourself a favour and try the scallop and prawn ravioli, my god it's good. Atmosphere authentic, not obtrusive or pretentious a perfect dining experience 10/10.
This is definitely by far the best pizza in North London!!!! We inhaled it, so there was no time to take any photos 😆 The service was very warm and hospitable. We must recommend the Calzone, the Tiramisu and the elderflower spritz, they were perfection 👀🙌🏻 The quality of the food was 💯 , the portions very generous and the prices very reasonable! Will deffo be back!!!
My boyfriend and I came here for a date night last week and honestly it was so quaint and the food was so delicious like a home cooked meal! He even took a photo of his food which he never does! And the waitress was so lovely and friendly
