Queens Market is a busy market in Upton Park there is a number of stalls that sell fabric, footwear, fruit and veg and food. Also in the market there is shops too this is a very popular market that is open from 9am till 6pm. Upton Park Underground Station is next door to Queens Market.

The famous Queens market is located on Green Street adjacent to the Upton Park underground tube station. It caters to everyone and is a historic market dating back to the Victorian era. The roof architecture is of the Brutalist era which was built in the 1960's. A unique blend of food and other products including vegetables, fruits, nuts, halal meat shops, fresh and frozen fish, South Asian grocery stores, clothing and shoes, jewellery and watches which are mostly second hand etc. Everything's sold at competitive prices. The place is mostly crammed up but that makes the environment vigorous and dynamic.

This old market has a fantastic mix of unique shops, from vintage clothing to quirky gifts. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and you can find some real gems among the stalls. Worth a visit for the experience alone!

A former “open-air” street market set under a claustrophobic roof since redevelopment here in the monochrome mid-1960’s Now -without being dismissive - this is a somewhat decrepit and grim surround, tetchy and defiantly unfashionable. Market stalls, and shops here catering largely to the needs of a multicultural local community (seemingly) largely originating from the Indian subcontinent. It’s colourful, bustling and full-throttle where value is clear cut, bare-knuckled with combative pricing. The fruit, vegetables and nuts here represent extraordinary value for money with numerous Halal meat/fish specialists and homeware basics. All under the shadow of “Hamara Gar” ( “Our home” in Hindi ) a retirement housing project whose uncompromising bleak pre-Brutalist facade evokes a post WWII Eastern European secret police complex.

Lots of food stalls, fresh produce, and that lively local feel that makes walking around enjoyable. Some areas feel a bit cramped, especially when it’s busy, but that’s part of the charm. Prices are mostly fair, and the variety is impressive. A great place to grab something quick and soak in the atmosphere.

Great place to buy halal meat, cheap vegetables, and Indo-pakistani food items. Can be very cold in winter. Good selection of fish too.

I love this place. I came here to buy almonds, pistacchi and other nuts and the quality is amazing. Fruit and vegetables are good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended, but it's better to bring cash for you because it is preferred, some shops have a minimum amount of spending.

Fresh Vegetables, fruits, Meat, Chicken etc. One of the best discount shops. Old market style. Attractive to the visitors. Don't miss to visit such an old Market. Surprisingly very low in prices. More you can for home solutions and travel. Many gift shops are also there.
