Katie's Bar Glasgow

We (5 of us ) called in for the Dolly Parton tribute and she was great. Staff were nice. There were about another 10 people in opposite us dressed up in country and western outfits and another 2 round at the bar. Pity it was so quiet.

For years I had always been a fan of Katie's bar, we had a meal next-door then went into Katie's only to find I'm no longer a fan of this little bar....couldn't wait to get out of it!!! Maybe I've grown up & moved on. The staff are still amazing can't fault them.

Staff are super friendly and the performers and acts ate always great. Feels like a proper authentic vibe and the drinks are very good and quite reasonably priced, especially with the katies klub earning points too.

If you are looking for something a bit different, Katie's Bar in John Street maybe the place for you. Going down from street level into a surprisingly large vaulted area. There are pool tables on the right hand side as you go in. There is a good variety of beers and at reasonable prices. It was quite empty when I visited but began filling up when the karaoke started.

My favourite place to be on a Sunday afternoon, always a live tribute act on which are pretty outstanding, management and bar staff never stop making sure it runs smooth, never a long wait to be served and atmosphere the best.

What a brilliant night!! All staff were very friendly and the entertainment, music and dancing made our night. (Didn't have anything to eat.)

Great wee Sunday afternoon in this bar, George Michael tribute was excellent. Great atmosphere, had everyone up dancing. Will definitely be back to this bar.
