Amazing stone-baked pizza with fresh ingredients and loads of flavour! The real highlight, though, was our waiter. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and even spoke Greek, which made the experience extra special. I didn’t catch his name, but if you see this, thank you! Your service was genuinely outstanding. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem! I was desperately craving a steak with peppercorn sauce and chips but it seems like every pub in London wants to only serve a Sunday roast. I finally stumbled across station house and thought I’d give it a try as their online menu said they had steak with peppercorn and fries. However, when arrived I noticed that they did not have the steak I desired on menu and only had steak with a roast today. I questioned the waiter (young man out of uniform so I assume he’s a manager) to see if there was any way I could have what my heart desired, he said he’d ask the chefs and came back to me with the best news! The steak was absolutley divine, the perfect amount of seasoning it almost didnt even need the peppercorn sauce as it was already filled with so much flavour. The chips were absolute perfection, right amount of fluff and crisp at a perfect temperature. I am not a huge salad person, but even the salad was delicious and complimented the steak chips ever so well!! The service was very good (also served by a young lady), it is a lovely little pub, to come for a family dinner or if your like me and want some post church lunch “me time”, it is not too loud, and has a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend this place!
Really lovely sunday roast beef dinner - succulent beef, crispy roast potatoes, tasty carrots, big light yorkie and an unusual addition of chargrilled cabbage, a great combination of flavours, well cooked and good value. The apple tart tatin dessert was delicious also. Beautiful pub in a great location with friendly service and lots of choice for drinks and food.
We were a large group of fourteen and the majority of us had pizzas, which were quite tasty. Also, the staff were generally decent, if not outright friendly, so no problems there, either. The main problem was with the bill; we paid and left, only to be called an hour later to say that we had not paid enough because someone forgot the food on one of our tables. Mistakes can happen, so we went back within fifteen minutes and paid up - or so we thought. Fast forward to 1800 and yet another call comes from the same person, asking when we would come by. We literally had to provide the exact moment we paid the balance before they figured it out, which was mind-boggling. In short, good food, but not sure it is worth the rest of the trouble when there are so many other options in the area.
The food (Sunday Roast) was really nice but they were seriously understaffed and it took over 30mins to be served. As a single diner I was sat in a dusty, bushy corner which I didnt like very much. However the atmosphere was very vibrant and friendly.
I visited this pub with high expectations because it’s well-known in the neighborhood and looks absolutely beautiful. It was quite busy, and there was only one female manager taking orders, so service was a bit slow. That in itself was understandable. However, the real issue happened when we were ready to leave. We asked the female manager for the bill and waited right next to the till. Despite making eye contact with her, she either forgot or chose to ignore us and went to serve other tables. Even though other tables requested the bill after us, she processed their payments first—two or three groups—while continuing to overlook us. Other staff members were kind and checked in on us, asking if we were waiting to pay, which we appreciated. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes. When we asked again, she still served another table before finally taking our payment. It felt as though she was intentionally avoiding us, and as the only Asian customers there, it was hard not to feel that this may have been discriminatory behavior. We later found out that she was the manager. While other staff members apologized to us, she never did, which made the situation even more disappointing. It’s a shame because this is otherwise a lovely place—the food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and most of the staff are genuinely friendly. I just don’t understand how the manager could behave that way, especially when she was being so kind to other tables. On a positive note, the onion soup on the menu is absolutely fantastic—definitely worth trying if you visit!
Great neighbourhood pub to spend afternoons and evenings with your friends and families! Good selection of beers, we all had delicious pizza enjoying our time on the balcony, staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back again!
We've been coming to this pub almost weekly, always with a great experience... I've even recommended to friends & family and gave good reviews online before. Always loved it. Sadly, on March 22nd, we had a party of 15 and had to wait for over 90 mins to get pizzas only to realise that they had missed to take the order of half of the guests because the waiter did not bother to take notes and was always in a haste. EDIT: We were approached on a subsequent occasion by the owner, who offered his apologies and a round of drinks. On the evening, as had always been the case before, the food was great and the service was competent. Thank you! We will be coming back.
