Came from out of state to try for a different Waterpark experience (been to the WI Dells too many times) and had a blast! Went on a Tuesday at 11 am and barely had to wait in any lines the whole day. Parking was easy. The entire facility was clean. The lockers were really convenient with the wristband setup, and the changing areas with the curtains were nice for some privacy (although some hooks would be helpful). All the employees were nice and having fun splashing on the slides, etc, which made it more fun. My only real negative is eating there for lunch was very expensive and the food was terrible (almost un-edible). Other than that, had a great time! All the decorations around the park were pretty cool, too!

Raging Waves is an amazing place for families! The park was clean, well-maintained, and had a fun, welcoming atmosphere. There were plenty of attractions for all ages, and my children absolutely loved spending the day there. The staff was friendly, and it was easy to relax knowing the environment was clean and family-friendly. We made so many great memories and can't wait to come back. I highly recommend Raging Waves for a fun day with the whole family!

Overall we had a great time and I only took away the 1 star because of their unreasonable per say outside food rule. I looked through the website to see what the rules were for bringing food in. Clearly it states : A water bottle and individual-sized snack (pretzels, chips, fruit snacks, etc.) – One per person....I brought said items listed above and when they flipped my mesh bag over they told me to take them back to my vehicle or throw them away...am I not reading the fine print correctly or are the employees not understanding their own rules? Why would I have to take them back to my vehicle if their rules say snacks permitted?

This was our family’s first time visiting, and we came to celebrate my niece’s 9th birthday. She had an amazing time and truly enjoyed herself! The only thing she was disappointed about was not being able to get a float for the lazy river, but I guess that’s one of the perks of getting there right when they open. The highlight of our day, though, was definitely the staff. Everyone at the cabana check-in was organized, efficient, and incredibly kind. I actually made a mistake when I booked our cabana and accidentally selected the wrong date. It was completely my error, but the cabana staff and the managers went above and beyond to help get everything straightened out. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure our day wasn’t ruined. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped us! Because of your kindness, my niece had a wonderful birthday celebration, and we’ll definitely be back.

Amazing water park I had lots of fun besides the facts that the prices for food are very high and make sure to bring a clear or mesh bag and you cannot enter with any other bag and they sell clear drawstring bags but they were very expensive.

My family and I have been going to raging waves for about 2 years. Each time we have come we all have an amazing time. Food is a little pricey, but we do pack our own lunch and when the the park grounds is closing we always go to the parking lot to the grassy Area and have a little picnic together To finish off our day at the water park, it's always nice and clean. Everyone is very polite, very observant, watching everyone and keeping everyone safe. I will recommend this place to anyone who desires to take their kids To a very nice water park. Final comment, try to get a summer pass well worth the price if you plan to visit often, we have been here 6 times already. This summer.

If you're looking for a water park near Chicago to beat the summer heat, Raging Waves Waterpark—the largest water park in Illinois—is a top choice. Highly recommended! It's an incredible experience with something for everyone. While booking your ticket, you can also book parking, as it's not free with a day ticket but is included with a season pass. They have cabanas and private huts for rental, which you can reserve online. Make sure to book your tickets online to avoid the huge lines at the park. There's a kids' area and thrilling water rides that make the wait worth it. Expect long lines, especially on weekends, with a 15-30 minute wait for a 5-10 second ride, but it's totally worth it! My favorite ride is "Wonambi," which is both scary and super fun. I also enjoyed the Cyclone and Three Sisters rides. I wanted to try the Boomerang, but I ran out of time. The wave pool is great, but keep in mind that the waves start every 30 minutes, so plan your time accordingly. There are also food shops where you can grab a bite to eat. Lockers are available for rent: small ones cost $14, and large ones cost $18. After trying all the rides, don't miss taking a relaxing loop on the Lazy River with a tube—it’s the perfect way to end your day. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience, and I definitely plan to visit again!

Had a great time. Just remember that it is expensive but we felt it was worth it for a one day grand adventure. You can get deals on the tickets so go online and you’ll see it somewhere or go to Groupon. Love all these slides. There are a lot of stairs to get to the good rides but this old grandma did it and so can you. Parking is $20 and the food is expensive. Read the park rules before you go. You need a plastic beach bag and other stuff. I would go back maybe one more time this year but only one because of the prices. They have awesome areas for all ages of kids. The Park is extremely well maintained and landscaped. Lifeguards everywhere. Re someone’s comments about the water - you can bring your own water in a soft cooler so I don’t think there’s any problem with having the right water.
