Definitely worth stopping if you’re driving between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The preserved old mining town has a unique atmosphere that really makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Walking through the old streets, visiting the shops, and stopping by one of the historic bars for a drink made the experience even more memorable. It’s a fun place to explore for an hours, and there are plenty of little stores selling vintage-style souvenirs and local goods. If it’s already on your route, I’d definitely recommend making a stop—it was one of the most unique places we visited during our trip.

My dad and I had such a fun time at Calico Ghost Town! Walking around felt like stepping back in time to the Old West. There’s so much to explore—the historic buildings, little streets, and even imagining the stories of people who lived there makes it come alive. If you go around sunset, the view from the top is absolutely spectacular! We also loved browsing all the gift shops and grabbing a bite to eat. It’s the perfect place to let your imagination run wild and make up your own Old West adventures. A really memorable, fun day—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! ✨

Tutto sommato, carina la località, ma molto spoglia è piena di negozietti e basta. Secondo me serviva qualcosa per intrattenere i turisti. Anche perché si paga per entrare. Dopo 10 minuti ci annoiavamo e ce ne siamo andati.

Nice, stunning scenery! All the employees we met were tired and couldn't care less of us being there, i felt bad. Train driver was the most lazy one, killed the mood...lady in pet shop was nice!

A Nice Place to visit and take a Break in Barstow. Has some Food options, camping, dirt roads for riding or hiking. Also a small train and a mini mine walk.....IF you Dare....
