Lake Baldwin Dog Park

*My first dog park experience* The park itself is beautiful and I can see why other dogs enjoy it, but unfortunately it wasn’t the right fit for my furry babies. All the trash cans were overflowing and smelled really strong, which made the entrance unpleasant. Once inside, I couldn’t walk my dogs at ease because I was constantly worried about stepping in dog waste that hadn’t been picked up. The bigger issue was safety. Several dogs were off-leash and unsupervised. One mother Husky was roaming freely with her puppies and actually attacked my good size furry baby three times. The owner wasn’t present — only his two young granddaughters were there. When he returned from 7-Eleven and my son told him what happened, he didn’t apologize or seem concerned at all. If you have smaller or more timid dogs, please be careful here. If you’re looking for a peaceful, tranquil walk like Lake Lily or Lake Eola, this park may not be for you. I wish the park had better maintenance and stricter enforcement of leash/pet supervision rules. It has potential, but right now I can’t recommend it for families with small dogs.

Beautiful large, enclosed, dog park, lots of room. There are large open areas for dogs to run and play as well as a lake and forest trails to roam! Coming from Southern CA, I have never seen a park as big as this. There are covered picnic tables to relax at while your dogs roam free.

This dog park is elite. It’s the best one I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many across the state and nationwide. All my rescue dogs have learned how to swim by getting used to the walk in water area. The trails are beautiful and my dogs love ending our outings there by doing a walkthrough. I’ll forever love this park, it holds so many great memories with my fur babies. People are very nice there as well.

This is the best dog park in the world. I know that’s sounds dramatic, but hear me out. It’s huge. There’s lots of room to run around. There’s a lake with a beach There are dog washing stations. There are trails. It’s all fenced in. There are lots of beautiful oaks that provide lots of shade. There are lots of benches. There are pavilions. The people are friendly. The dogs are great. You and your dog will not regret visiting.

We finally found a nice dog park to bring my parents dog where she could get accustomed to being out and about. We stayed within the small dog area more since she isn't very comfortable around much larger dogs. It was nice to see lots of water bowls ready for them to drink water from and a spot to bathe your dog if it goes into the lake.

Best dog park in the country! Definitely top two and we travel 48 continental usa for 9 months outta the year. Our dog Loved it went 3 times in our 10 day stay!

This is a great place to take my dogs; they love exploring among the trees and bushes when we walk along the trail. They can run freely throughout the entire park, they can play and swim at the little beach by the lake. There is even an area with hoses where I can bathe them—rinsing them off with fresh water after they’ve gone swimming in the lake

My dog loved this park. It’s massive and beautiful. He had a blast chasing squirrels. The hoses and tables to wash off sand are so great! We’ll definitely be back!
