My husband and I was out walking and found this hidden gym. Never knew something so good was so close and it has some of the best flavor profiles that there is and from the start of your experience because that’s what it is until the absolute end we were greeted with warmest highs and welcomes that there is Mr. Cody, their manager met us at the door we were seated right away. There was no wait and mind you this was actually on a busy night Saturday to be exact. My husband and I chose to sit outside and we of course, inquired with this wonderful waiter by the name of Holman as to what we should try as we were first timers He gave us some of their fan favorites and trust me we tried them and they were so worth it now while eating imagine… lake …beautiful area very well kept and the food was prepared with love from the start to the finish. I ordered something believe it or not that wasn’t on the menu and they scored high it was 2 lobster tails with a garlic butter had capers and pimentos in it 100 out of 10 for sure. I highly recommend if you’re in the Winter Haven area or even if you’re near take the drive, you will not regret it. This will now be a staple in my husband and I’s marriage our special little hidden gym. The lobsters were so soft and melted in your mouth. And their lobster bites. I recommend that you get them with their home made tartar sauce even the drink was A1 the Mermaid had just enough mixtures of the top shelf alcohol I felt like I was in an all inclusive resort! Everything from the start again just amazing even their tea was good not too sweet just right don’t say I didn’t put you on and on Tuesdays , They even have a special for lobsters. Now where can you get that type of service with fresh food HERE for sure 😋 we will be returning and I am so grateful to have met and been served by Holman and Mr. Cody definitely a memorable experience for sure 💯💯🥰

Harry’s Old Place in Winter Haven is fantastic. The food and service were outstanding. Everything I tried was top-notch—from the gator bites to the Corvina and the Key lime pie. It’s a very popular spot and can get busy during dinner hours, but if you can go for a late lunch or early dinner you’ll get an amazing lake view while enjoying some incredible food. Highly recommend, and I’m definitely looking forward to many more visits.

Stopped in at Harry's Old Place in Winter Haven for lunch on New Years Eve. Our server Suzanne is a real pro - handled the entire dining room with a smile. Love the great fish and seafood choices - the fish board says it all. I absolutely love their Onion Loaf just so good, wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The Seafood Chowder is packed with seafood in a creamy broth that delivers great flavor - just comfort in a bowl. I don't know how you fry fish and seafood better - hot, crispy and tender - includes shrimp, scallops, oysters, clam strips - took half home for lunch today. We split this amazing Florida Orange cake which is a new guilty pleasure of mine. Going for lunch is a great way to avoid the crowds but still get a great meal. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

On January 24, 2026 we held our wedding dinner at Harry's. First, it was given 5 stars by the nearly 50 people in attendance. Cody the manager, worked in every way to please our guest and the staff was absolutely incredible. It's not a huge place, but I couldn't ask for a better experience. Fresh fish, fresh chicken, steaks, and more lined our plates. I have traveled many states and restaurants, (check my reviews) and definitely a top 5 place to eat. Thank you Cody, Harry's, and staff for making our day ending with smiles and full stomachs. I recommend if you ever are in the Winter Haven area...make this a must. Duane and Katarina

We wanted to explore a more local seafood restaurant and something away from tourists. Harry’s delivered on all fronts. It is about 35 minutes from Davenport and Google maps got us there with no issues. The fresh fish is posted on the chalk board and the portions were good. We ordered the fried onion loaf, swordfish, cod and chips and fried shrimp. Everything tasted great. We thought the swordfish was too thin and did not come as a steak cut. The shrimp were great and you can get to choose from two different portion sizes. The cocktails were amazing! The fresh made key lime pie was the best we have had, it was frozen but tart and fluffy at the same time. The hot bread rolls were outstanding and reminded me of my mother’s baking years ago. They have outdoor seating but it didn’t look like it’s been used in a long time and could offer a great ambiance if it was spruced up. Nice views of the water. I will return!!

Suzanne was so attentive and amazing. And the food!!! Gator bites with pimento cheese was so good. I had the amberjack with garlic caper butter, wow was that amazing. My husband had blackened grouper sandwich and that was so good too. Their tartar sauce was Devine.

My first time to Harry's and I took my mother. I decided to order appetizers and food, lol. I ordered alligator bites, onion loaf, and for dinner I ordered the fresh haddock and my mother ordered fried scallops. Everything was delicious 😋. I am excited to go back.

We stopped here last night after a visit to Legoland and so glad we did! The waitress was very friendly and attentive even though it was very busy. The food was phenomenal, the best food we had on the entire trip, as the fish (corvina and swordfish, cooked in lemon butter) was incredibly fresh and flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sides (garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and hush puppies) and dessert were also amazing. My son got the kids fried shrimp and the portion was huge! Overall incredibly happy with our visit and so glad we stopped!
