Memorial Park

This park has everything, and so much space to get away, yet be together. Very nice neighborhood and the locals there are very friendly and amazing. Watch a game, play a game, take a walk, people watch, take your pet, take your kids, take your grandkids, it is a wonderful place to spend your day. Restrooms are well maintained and if you are lucky, the icecream truck will stop by.. look for the bubbles!

This place is absolutely beautiful. It's almost magical right along the Willamette River. There's some wonderful trails that it go through the forest. Full of ferns and moss, and it's just simply whimsical in some spots, you can get down to the water. There's not much beach there, and it looks mostly like mud, but definitely a great place to walk or picnic.

This is a really special place. I love rhe pathways and the fact that the park design allows for so many different uses at once, without bumping into each other. There could be hundreds of people enjoying softball games, 32 walking the paths, 12 playing disc golf and who knows what else. There is even a small venue for weddings, corporate lunches etc.

This is a great park in the heart of Wilsonville. The park is across the street from the town library and convenient access to shopping and food. In the summertime it has a terrific water park feature for younger kids and families. There are trails abounding everywhere and connect with a much larger park. There is a large barn that can be rented for events and a fun park with lots of play structures for the kids.

I love love love this place. The front door of Memorial has always been open to a veritety of ppl. at 5 a.m. but recently I go every I can't get in before 6:45.. sometimes 7......... for those of us with stability in repetition, the random schedule makes it hard to judge when to go in the mornings anymore. For a few weeks now we can't get in and this morning there are 3 ppl parked in the parking lot of the library. 6:45 and they aren't open. The gate is open, But only if you look closely.

Love the new park that was added recently! It's located near the river shelter and has lots of neat natural elements for kids - great for dramatic play. You can access the park in a few ways - through the parking lot or through the trails. If you take the trails, there are story time posters for the kids to read along the trail.

Large sprawling city park that offers numerous activities. The day I visited, I walked along a trail that paralleled the Willamette River. It offered a little history with a quiet hike. Several Willamette River Cable Tree's where marked along the trail. You might forget that several soccer fields, ball fields, a playground, a skate park, disc golf course and dog park are right over the hill.

I cannot say enough great things about this park. There are two larger playgrounds that the kids love. If you are uncomfortable with playgrounds during the pandemic, there are MANY walking trails to take the dogs or kids for some fresh air and change of scenery. There is also a dog park and garden, as well as other amenities. It has been a great place for us during this pandemic.
