Botanica, The Wichita Gardens

Absolutely beautiful. We’ve been to several botanical gardens around the country and while not a big one in comparison it is absolutely gorgeous. The space is great to walk even on a scorching hot summer day. Very well attended. Staff/volunteers are very friendly. It made for a very relaxing morning on the last day of our Wichita trip. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

This place is extra strength beautiful. It was 90⁰ and little too hot for us so we only did 1/3 of the gardens but it was well worth it. We will be coming back when it cools down a bit to do the whole thing slowly. Plenty of parking and the map is easy to understand.

Had a wonderful experience. Veteran's discount too. There was a wedding being held in one area and there was also a children's field trip. The only thing I wish they had was a better option for food. They had snacks but a lunch place would've been a nice option.

Recently attended the Origami in the Gardens artist talk. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered free admission to the public for that event! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to listen to these talented artists describe their process and inspiration before seeing their works in the gardens. The exhibition for Origami in the Garden is absolutely worth a trip to see while it is still available! Pictures only do so much justice, seeing these pieces in person is a must. I haven't been to Botanica in a few years and I was amazed by how much it has grown! It was just as beautiful as I remember but there were more paths and things to enjoy, especially for families with young children. I love seeing local organizations bring unique art and activities to Wichita. Thanks for a wonderful experience Botanica!

Went for the Easter brunch and normally I wouldn't use this word but magical was the only way to describe it. Weather was perfect, tulips were all in bloom. We drank memosas and walked around and had an awesome morniny!

Such a magical place, always! Good place to bring kids too. Very chill on weekdays and a little more people on the weekends but still a good time.

Incredibly beautiful - damn near beyond words! Different Gift Shops with a variety of souvenirs are located throughout the walking path as you follow along with a Fantastic light show! Numerous photo opts, superb food trucks with outstanding menu options & unbeatable prices, including an array of full bar vendors on every corner, surrounded by festive Holiday music lights for every flash & beam of light to dance to - wear comfortable, walking shoes because you will want to see every inch of the grounds!

What a lovely place to be. We stopped here on our way down to Texas to let our kids get out some energy and enjoy nature. Highly recommend to go and take in all the different types of plants and wild life. There are so many little areas for kids to enjoy as much as parents. Further into the garden there is a carousel. We are definitely going to go back during fall/winter to see how the garden changes.
