This is one of the best dining experiences in Wichita Falls - however, if you know anything about this town, that's a very low bar to reach. This restaurant should be -adjusted for "bad reviewer inflation - a high 3 star. The positives are the atmosphere, the food selection, and the location. The negatives, based on my personal experience are the following: Prices; even though they're not the most expensive I've seen around here, they're still "we're a higher dining experience restaurant and will charge accordingly" type of establishment, even though it's Wichita Falls. The service; our waitress was not the friendliest; one item from our order was MIA, until we let them know; some of the other support staff seemed like they were not on the same page (unaware of my missing item; dropped off a drink meant for another table). Subjectively, it felt as if our server did not care much about our table and was paying more attention and checking in on other, "bigger party" tables (the ones where she'll get tipped better). And lastly, but unfortunately not least, our food was just very... Average and underwhelming. Not what you'd expect from one of the top 3 restaurants in a town. Everything sort of tasted much blander, and with lesser flavor than it should. We had the New York strip, sirloin, Mac and cheese, shrimp, and baked potatoes. The live music was pretty good and much appreciated. Overall, this is a good "date spot" to impress whomever you want to. However, for a dining experience, this might prove underwhelming if you are judging with objective integrity. The ironic part is that you MIGHT get a better experience at Texas Roadhouse -food wise, atmosphere wise, and service wise. This might be one of the all-too -common situations where a place gets much higher reviewed JUST because it's a non-chain establishment. Unfortunately, if you're using all the honesty in your brain, you would realize that some places do not deserve a higher rating, just because it's a mom-and-pop shop. Good place, nonetheless. Good to try out, maybe come back once more. But in my opinion, not really deserving of the packed parking lot and wait times.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that gives you a true Texas steakhouse experience, this is it. My husband and I stopped here while traveling through Texas, and it ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. My husband is extremely particular about his food, especially steak, and he couldn’t stop talking about how perfectly his was cooked. He also added the half rack of ribs for an extra $10, and they were absolutely worth it. Everything was flavorful, cooked just right, and the portions were generous. I ordered the grilled chicken with cheese and toppings, along with two sides, and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and homemade rather than just thrown together. It’s honestly refreshing to find a restaurant where every part of the meal lives up to your expectations. The service was friendly, our food came out exactly as ordered, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what I pictured when I wanted an authentic Texas steakhouse experience. We left full, happy, and talking about how glad we were that we stopped. My only tiny complaint—and I’m saying this with a smile—is the espresso martini. It was around $14, and it honestly tasted like it had somehow misplaced both the espresso and the martini. 😂 It certainly wasn’t enough to ruin the meal, and I didn’t even send it back, but if you’re coming here, I’d stick with what they clearly do best: the steaks, ribs, and great food. Overall, this place absolutely delivered. Great food, generous portions, good service, and an authentic Texas steakhouse atmosphere. We’d definitely stop here again the next time we’re passing through. Highly recommended!

Formal Complaint Regarding Discriminatory Service and Executive Misconduct @ McBrides's Steakhouse Date of Visit: July 7, 2026 Time: 6:10 PM Table: 23 Order Number: 285 Review: This one-star review is strictly directed at the establishment's owner and manager, Ford (identifiable by his green shirt during this shift). While the culinary and front-of-house staff performed admirably, the behavior demonstrated by ownership was profoundly unacceptable.During our meal, Ford entered our dining section three to four times. He actively engaged with, greeted, and checked on every single table in the immediate area—some multiple times—while deliberately ignoring ours. At one point, he stood directly behind our table against the wall in complete silence, refusing to acknowledge our presence.Regrettably, this selective avoidance appeared to be motivated by bias. Our party consisted of a multi-racial family of Mexican individuals and one Black man (I was wearing a yellow shirt and a black hat). Our first direct interaction occurred when I exited the restroom; I made direct eye contact and nodded as a polite greeting. Ford chose to stare back in complete silence without returning the gesture. When he returned to the dining room later, he again bypassed our table while offering a hostile glare, immediately before resuming warm conversations with the surrounding patrons.Discovering that this individual is the owner of the establishment makes the experience even more disheartening. True leadership requires treating every patron with equal respect. Walking around the dining room floor while selectively withholding standard hospitality from minority customers is a severe failure of basic business etiquette. Working with minority employees does not excuse or disguise a lack of genuine respect for minority customers.In stark contrast to the owner’s behavior, the kitchen staff did an exceptional job preparing our meal, and our server, Jordan, provided exemplary, high-quality customer service. Jordan’s professionalism is a standard that the owner himself should study and emulate.It is deeply disappointing to be reminded that this type of exclusionary mindset still exists in the hospitality industry. I am documenting these exact details so management, staff, and future patrons are fully aware of how this establishment's ownership operates.

visiting wichita and we found this place. delicious food with reasonable prices. staff is very friendly and gives good food recommendation.

Everything was top notch! Texas portions are a real thing! We asked for fried pickles, which weren't on the menu, but definitely worth the ask because they were great and you definitely get your money's worth! My prime rib was perfect, my salad, my wife's salad, her mixed drink and my twice baked Potato was top notch! Our waitress was happy to place the candles on some texas cheesecake for my wife's birthday surprise and bring it out at the end! I can't wait to go back!

This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The food all came out quickly, the server Macinzie was super attentive and friendly!! I wish we lived in this area so we could come back regularly. Highly recommend this place!

This is my new favorite restaurant!! We were quoted a 30 min wait, but seated much faster. Both our host and server were phenomenal and on very top of their jobs. The drinks were delicious, the appetizers came out fast, and the live music was such an awesome vibe. I love the decor and or course the food was 10/10!! I can’t wait to be back!

7 people, made reservations. Wonderful time. Food was great and loved by all. Onion rings appetizer was gone in no time. I had the rib-eye and it was so tasty. Cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the beer selection. it is Wichita Falls Texas, so most customers probably or very satisfied. Go for the steak and leave with a smile.
