The plumber was licensed and had excellent communication skills, sharing his diagnostic assessment of the problem and the necessary fixes. He continued to update me as I watched the work progress, explaining all facets of the problem and educating me about the entire heating system and how it relates to the boiler I own. He was the consummate professional, very detailed and, systematic and tidy throughout the process. He also explained the company’s different service options so I could make an informed decision about plans and which were most economical. Finally, everything was moved back into place upon completion. I would highly recommend Ranshaw and especially trusted the plumber Mr. Hung.

I didn’t end up using their plumbing services, but while inquiring I spoke with Ritchie and had a very pleasant experience. He was honest, patient, and took the time to answer my questions, which I really appreciated. Decided to take advantage of a boiler tune up promo since it had been a couple years since I had it serviced, tech showed up on time and got right to work. Disassembled various pieces of the boiler, pressuretrol, sight glass etc... and cleaned up and cleared any clogs that were present. Afterwards explained all the work to me and explained what self maintenance I can perform to keep my boiler running smoothly. Ranshaw has always been reliable for me, definitely recommend their work.

We had issues with the boiler not working in the winter when we needed it most, and our previous plumber made three service visits, changed two parts, and messed with the wiring, but still the issues with uneven or no heating, and the boiler not functioning to optimal performance were unresolved. Then, I called Ranshaw and they were great from beginning to end. They assessed the issue, quoted an estimate, and were able to come the next day to do the work. Yes the price is definitely more than other quotes, but Bill from Ranshaw was awesome and resolved four issues that my previous plumber had made in order to have the boiler functioning optimally. I didn't regret calling them and would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Bill definitely knew his stuff and was friendly and courteous. It made me feel confident that I found a reliable company for any future issues with home plumbing and heating. During our time as homeowners we have worked with many different types of contractors. We have never worked with a contractor who did exactly what he said he was going to do. Rick Bonelli, licensed master plumber did exactly what he said he was going to do. If he said he would be over on Monday morning, he was, if he said his staff was going to start work on Tuesday morning, they did. Rick has many years of experience dealing with gas shutoffs and the process necessary to assess and fix the problem to enable the gas to be turned back on. Rick guided us every step of the way during the process of repair and inspection of the gas system that was turned off due to a gas leak. Rick is professional, knowledgeable and experienced in the process of repair and knowledge of the building codes to insure a passed inspection by Con Ed and the NYC Building department the first time around. He knows the timeline of the process from start to finish. I cannot state strongly enough that he is the experienced professional you want helping you through a gas turn off situation. He made a difficult time bearable. He was helpful in providing remedies to keep us comfortable when there was no hot water, heat, stove or dryer. He was patient in explaining the multi-step process to make the necessary repairs that would get the gas turned back on. He was easy to work with during the entire time from start to finish. I highly recommend Rick and his staff.

Throughout this prompt service, Bill was highly professional and provided outstanding communicative skills whereby I fully understood the service that was being provided. His expertise should be applauded as the pressing plumbing issues were resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
