Borter has proven reliable and informative at all times. Very nice people to deal with over the phone and in person. We’ve used them for 4 years without a problem, including relocating the AC condenser. Highly recommend.

Truly an honest company. Called them in for a second opinion on an issue that a different HVAC company was saying necessitated a full system replacement. They provided concrete, quantitative evidence that our system was healthy - and did not push at all for any type of upsell or system replacement. After dealing with numerous companies trying to upsell, it was incredibly refreshing to work with somebody so efficient, knowledgeable, and honest.

Technician was condescending and rude. further, i booked an appointment in the morning. Heard nothing all day, then Borter called back 15 minutes before the technician was going to arrive, telling me even though I had booked just to have my furnace filter changed, Borter took it upon themselves to call my landlord, to make sure i was allowed to hire a company to do a simple filter change. Borter came back to me saying if i wanted my filter changed, I would have to agree to additional maintenance procedures that the landlord told Borter to charge ME for. If i didn't agree to this, borter going to cancel my filter replacement. I was worried about getting a last minute cancelation fee. They really had me over a barrel. This company is a bunch of mean, know it all narcs, i will not be working with them again. Response to Borter's message: Welp, Borter took down their public response, but i will keep my response: Borter asked me in there first response, which they have since deleted, to update my review i am revising my review, like you asked: Did the entire internet need to know the cost of my HVAC services? does Borter publish every person's repair costs to the public? In Borter's new feedback they said they find no evidence of my review that the technician was condescending and rude. I question what evidence they could possible be looking at. I was the only one who talked to the technician while he was in my house. If Borter had him videoing the entire interaction, or some other such "evidence" that they claim to have, I certainly didn't give him permission to video me inside my house, or record me in any way. I finding truly disturbing that they are claiming to have "evidence" of my interaction with the Technician. Borter, you may tell me, after the fact, that you always call landlords, but did not tell me you would need to get permission from my landlord before i booked an appointment with you. You did not get my permission to talk to my landlord. I was the one who hired you you did not clear the additional work with me. It is the principle of the thing. does not matter how little the additional work would cost.

Our 24 year old furnace broke on Sunday - we called Borter and they came out the next morning to look at it, and had someone out that afternoon to get us a quote on a new one. They were at our house installing it on Wednesday! Everyone we dealt with was fantastic, so helpful, and personable. The rates were reasonable and we didn’t break the bank. Brian made the entire process so easy I didn’t have to worry about anything. I always recommend Borter to anyone who needs HVAC work done!

Borter sent a tech out to maintain our AC system. The tech was great. We just bought the house late last year so this was the first service of the unit for us. The tech told us the unit was very dirty and looked like it was not serviced for a long time. He cleaned up the unit and got it back to optimal condition. I would recommend Borter service to all.

This company is absolutely amazing. There are other companies out there with five stars, but this company goes above and beyond. I would give them 10 stars if possible. I had a furnace installation done by them and it couldn’t have been better. The professionalism from start to finish was there for every aspect of the installation. They really know what they’re doing. They’ve been in business a very long time and if you want it done right this is the company to do it. The pricing is fair and they will work with you on financing. Mike their project manager was great to work with and answered any questions I had and was very thorough telling me what to expect. Ken and Chris worked on my installation and did a fabulous job. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. It was so refreshing to finally find people with expertise and pride in their work!!!!

We purchased our furnace and A/C from Borter, as well as their maintenance agreement, and have been very pleased. We've found them to be knowledgeable, professional and prompt. They definitely deserve 5 stars from us!

Called for repair and they were able to get a technician out the same day. The technician that came out explained the issue and was patient while we weighed the pros and cons of different repair strategies. Overall a good experience and would recommend Borter Heating & Air Conditioning.
