I’m so grateful we stopped here for a little getaway — what a true local gem! 🌿 It has everything: a grocery market, seed shop, café, and a wonderful seed-to-table concept that makes the whole place feel special.
The sunroom is absolutely the highlight — bright, peaceful, and just beautiful to sit in. The environment is warm and welcoming, and the cashiers are incredibly friendly. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re nearby.
Plus, the espresso is great and the bagels are delicious!

Peanut butter miso cookie was amazing. Crispy outside with caramelized sugar, soft and peanut buttery inside. Was listed as dairy free, so I think the miso was used in place of butter - might have added to the nice texture and complex flavor.
Mint chocolate chunk cookie was excellent. Super chocolatey cookie loaded with chocolate chunks, and a nice refreshing (not overbearing) mint glaze on top.
Sea salt chocolate chunk cookie was top notch. Gooey and loaded to the brim with chocolate chunks. Nice crispy outside, and a kick of salt to balance the sweetness.
Stout cupcakes were delicious. Cake was dense and had a good flavor from the stout. The Irish whiskey ganache added a chocolatey richness and the Irish cream buttercream was light and creamy.
I visited this adorable little café tucked inside an old rustic marketplace in a charming Connecticut town, and it honestly felt like stepping straight into a cozy fall dream 🍂. The atmosphere is so inviting..warm, rustic, and full of old-town charm. I had the autumn salad (so fresh and flavorful!) and a breakfast quiche that was perfectly baked. I also tried both an iced latte and an iced blueberry matcha..the matcha is a must-try, it’s unique and absolutely delicious! 💙
This place has grown so much. Some great cookie and drink selections and lots of plant seeds to choose from. Lots of little snack selections to choose from and they have a local ice cream vendor—honeycone which is in Chester, they offer very unique and delicious ice cream flavors and even have vegan ice cream!!
I am a frequent flyer of Heirloom Market and absolutely enjoy the food, coffee and atmosphere here anytime I visit. I love being able to meet friends and hang out in the front or in the greenhouse, or sit at the cafe bar and do work. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and the coffee is good! If you're looking for a cute place to connect with friends and family over fresh, yummy food/coffee or get in focus mode and read/do work, Heirloom is a perfect spot for all of it.
We recently delivered balloons for a baby shower here and the space is very cozy and cute. It is in the upstairs area and can fit a good amount of guests. It has the same historic charm as the entire building and restaurant.
This is such a cute market. They have a sandwich and bakery counter, a coffee counter, and a section full of seed packets. We had a delicious lunch down the road at The Charles so we weren't hungry but we bought their huge chocolate chip cookies and their ginger cookies. They were both delicious!
There is a lot of seating inside in multiple rooms and they have nice outdoor tables too.
We come here once or twice a year to purchase all the seeds for our garden and always end up leaving with a delicious treat from the bakery as well
