Islamic Center of Long Island

During my visit to the Newyork🇺🇸 , I get chance to perform several prayers at this beautiful Masjid, including the Jummah prayer. Khutbah was very impressive. Very big and beautiful building with lot of parking. Large prayer hall. Nicely maintained. Give lot of the positive vibes. Nice to meet several local residents. They welcomed us when informed that we are visiting from the Canada 🇨🇦

I recently visited the Long Island Islamic Center during Ramadan 2026 and was truly impressed. The mosque is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and organized everything was. The Iftar arrangements were wonderful. Volunteers did a great job making sure everyone was served and felt comfortable. It was a warm and peaceful environment to break fast together with the community. May Allah reward everyone who contributes to maintaining this beautiful masjid and organizing such thoughtful arrangements during Ramadan. I hope to visit again, InshaAllah.

MashaAllah Grate Masjid, big parking and lots of space for women’s and children like complex

I will never understand why people will spend so much money constructing beautiful mosque structures without understanding where to adequately allocate the funds. This masjid has a large courtyard but limited parking and the worse part of it is how are you going to have a women’s bathroom/wudu area with only ONE stall that is constructed in the most ridiculous way where instead of facing the door and having space to sit, the toilet faces the wall with only enough space to comfortable sit a child! It’s impossible for a tall or plus size individual to fit their legs/body. Now they’re fundraising to further build out the courtyard and create additional praying space for the men but can’t utilize those funds for the women or the restroom as if that’s not a necessity? This establishment is popular for burials which welcomes a lot of women. Also agree with the other comments, unfortunate that so many people share this experience of no one picking up the phone or answering texts.

Beautiful! ---- ^ that was my review of this Masjid a few years ago, before we moved to Long Island. I have more to say about this place now since it is our local Masjid. I really wanted to move close to this Masjid and some how Allah made that possible. Since then, I've been to it for countless Jummah, Taraweh, Janaza and other prayers. Been there for weddings and nikahs. Enrolled my kids to summer and Sunday classes. Overall, my experience with ICLI has been great! They have a large selection of programs and are fairly organized. I love that the kids are getting to learn about Islam. They recently purchased the last remaining property on the block adjacent to the Masjid. This means a lot for the future as it will allow the center to expand their footprint years from now.

Great architecture. Designed elegantly for its purpose. Dignifies the female gender by giving them privacy but maintains accessibility to the rest of the masjid without the use of a physical wall for separation.
