I cannot recommend Sun Wellness Acupuncture enough! I’ve completed 5 sessions here and am already feeling so much better. Expert Care: The owner and head acupuncturist, Sunyoung, is incredibly kind, meticulous, and truly an expert at what she does. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. The other acupuncturists on the team are also wonderful—so nice and consistently do a great job. Affordable & Accessible: They make the process stress-free by accepting many different insurance companies. Plus, if you're paying out of pocket, they offer a discounted rate. Super Convenient: Finding a place that is open on Saturdays is a huge lifesaver for busy schedules. As an added bonus, there is always plenty of parking, so you never have to stress before your appointment. I have already recommended Sun Wellness to my own family and friends, and I highly encourage anyone looking for quality care to check them out!

I am a physician and have had excellent care at Sun Wellness. They have successfully treated my TMJ, migraines, and sciatica, they give compassionate, considerate, and individualized care. I have had wonderful results and have been pleased with their bedside manner as well as the sensitive treatment and the actual results. I never have to wait to get my care and they are thoughtful about explaining what they are doing and how it will work and making recommendations for the ideal course of treatment. You can’t go wrong here. It’s an amazing place.

I visited Sun Acupuncture for issues with my rotator cuff and some discomfort that felt like a pinched nerve in my leg. Scheduling an appointment was straightforward, and the entire team was professional, welcoming, and attentive from the start. Each session lasts about an hour, and the team does an excellent job of understanding and addressing all concerns. They are proactive with follow-ups and ensure nothing is overlooked. I especially appreciated how clearly they guided me through the process—this was my first experience with acupuncture, and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They’ve been very effective in managing and reducing my pain, which has significantly improved since I started treatment. A special mention to the team—they are among the best I’ve come across in terms of care and professionalism. Another highlight is that they offer a shared treatment room where two people can have sessions at the same time on separate tables, which is a great option if you’re visiting with a partner. I found Sun Wellness Acupuncture because I was looking for a place in the Boston area that offers facial acupuncture, which is really not easy to find. I have been so thrilled with the experience here. What you won't find is a glamorous aethetics spa environment. What you will experience, however, is much more than this - highly trained traditional chinese medicine clinicians who have deep experience in treating a broad range of ailments and conditions. I started with the facial acupuncture series, which is a two hour journey that starts with a warm towel, about 30 to 45 minutes of microneedling, an herbal face mask, and final about 30 minutes of facial acupuncture - as well as needles on other meridians of the body. I enjoy a little nap on their massage beds for most of the time, but I will warn you - there are a lot of needles on the face! I also bring my children (ages 8 and 11) here to be treated for minor ailments, including chronic coughs and recovery for sprained or sore muscles. They aren't scared at all, the team is really wonderful with the kiddos, and the needles are very small and not painful. I appreciate that each visits includes one of the doctors checking the pulse to see what is going on with the body, as well as a scan of the tongue. Each visit leaves me feeling like I am supporting and taking care of my body in a meaningful and consistent way. I am very grateful to Dr. Lee and her team! Highly recommend.
