The first handy man that was sent out clearly didn't want to be at my house. He talked down to me when i was showing him the dryer vent was and said that wasn't a dryer vent. After showing him my list he said he'd work on the quote and told me he couldn't do any of the items on my list. I honestly almost decided to not call to have someone else come out. I'm very very pleased with Tom! If Tom had came out first this review would have been 5 stars. Tom was engaged asking questions about the projects and did a phenomenal job on the ones we had him do. We still have a few projects left, but as soon as we get our supplies in we are definitely calling and asking for Tom to come back out!
Mr. Handyman was very helpful and communicative starting with the first phone call I made to discuss my issue/project. They were willing to help with an issue that many others have not been able to. My bathroom pipes were freezing within an inner wall between my condo and my neighbors. Bartlomiej was on time and communicative the whole day while he worked on the project. What I thought would be a multiday project was completed in one day! The insulation he added looks great and the clean up was very well done. You could not even tell the wall was taken down. With the past few below zero days I have had no issues with freezing pipes! Problem solved!
John Maenner was so helpful, experienced, very skilled, honest, fast, strong, and did a wonderful job on my deck repair. He is our go to handyman for all future jobs. Thanks so much John.
Had a great experience with Thomas Kissee from here. Fixed my cedar fence that a tree came through and replaced one of the support posts, very professional and high-quality work. Even oiled my garage door chain and springs without any request, garage opens and closes silently now. 10/10 would recommend Tom to anybody.
Steve S did a great job with the closet in my craft room. A plumbing issue in the kitchen necessitated getting to the pipes through the closet wall, which meant some drywall and flooring repair. Steve was a pro - he answered all of my questions about the project, walked me through the plan to get everything put back to rights and was very upfront about the charges. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be calling Mr. Handyman again for jobs around the house that I don't have the skill or experience to do on my own. 15/10 would recommend!
I had a few projects done. Both Simon and Steven were diligent workers, honest, and have impeccable workmanship. They were kind and informative. I had water damage in my basement and needed a wall repaired before our flooring was installed. They came out right away and did a job well done! The wall is seamless. Simon also removed a useless 1970’s style decorative doorway and used drywall which once again the wall was seamless. Stephen removed and replaced our 1970’s rock fireplace and updated it with modern stone. We are so happy with Mr. Handy Man’s service and attention to detail!
The appointment with Bart from Mr. Handyman could not have gone any better. We had a door and entry that needed repair after forced entry (medically related) was made. Since the door had been secured in a specific way, it hadn’t been opened until our appointment date. It was much more than anticipated.
Bart was a true professional once he saw the extent of the damage, outlining a few different options for us and explaining each in detail. You could tell he had a general idea of what he was going to do. But then Bart went into craftsman mode and put a lot of care and attention into making sure everything worked well AND looked great. By the time he was finished, it was like a new door.
My girlfriend and I honestly could not have been happier with the work and the level of professionalism and care he displayed. We really couldn’t thank him enough.
