North Coast Church

OK, so I have been on a journey.trying to find a church that truly felt like home. I was raised Catholic, but for a while there I was only showing up at Christmas and Easter, and I knew in my heart I needed something more. Something that would light me up inside and that I'd actually be excited to bring my whole family to. And then I found North Coast Church, and honestly? It changed everything. What I love most is that they offer so many different types of services , a Latin service, a more contemporary rock music service, a live music service, an outside service, so even though it's a large church, it never feels overwhelming or impersonal. No one is forcing anything on you, which I deeply appreciate. And Pastor Chris Brown? He is just so wonderful. North Coast is a church on a mission, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. If you are searching for a church home, please do yourself a favor and check them out. Go to a Brownie with Browns event, it's a great way to get to know the mission and the heart behind everything they do. I'm so, so glad I found them.

The church itself is awesome. Not a fan of the head pastor though. During certain presidencies he encourages people to follow the law and during other presidencies, he encourages them to break the law. There are quite a few other inconsistencies and actual issues he seemingly supports that goes against the Bible. I’m not the only person that has left this church because of him. I’ve met a surprising amount in my hunt to find a new church. Until I find that church, I’m listening to Lakepointe and Live Free with Josh Howerton. Give it a listen - it’s really good. If I could, I’d attend that church. I’ve never met a pastor that could make people so excited about the Bible as he does.

I love ❤️ North Coast Church. It's a very welcoming Church that is active in giving back to the community with volunteer projects and the like. It's a come as you are Church, no need to feel like you have to dress up. Just come share God's love and teachings. 👣

Great church if you love mega churches. This is the mega of all megas. This church is ran like a well oiled machine with no room for error! If you’d like to attend the live service so you don’t have to watch a live stream, forget about bringing your kids! You’ll have to sit in the back and they will make sure it’s clear to you that if they make any noises you will have to leave. While visiting from out of town we tried to sit with family but couldn’t because we had our kids and “when they cry it would be too inconvenient because they’re live streaming”. Our church at home also live streams and we are welcome to bring our children into the service with us and even encouraged to bring the baby! I tried looking for the verse in the Bible that says ‘stick the kids in the back and kick em out when they cry’ but I couldn’t find it. But anyways, great church if you love this kind of vibe!

We love this church there is so many different options to explore. So many nice people and such a relaxed atmosphere. We will be joining some life groups soon and hopefully making this church our home.

Update of review. We were visiting the area and couldn't wait to stop in here again. Pastor Chris is doing a series on 1,2 & 3 John. Amazing challenge to live in the love of Christ for us. We listen weekly to these messages when back home in Canada. Great church. Preaches the Word, doing a study on Romans now. Excellent message from pastor Chris. Found the people friendly.

Such an Amazing church .. I have only been attending for a few months . I was drawn in by the Divorce Care class they have run by Susan Trueblood . What an amazing person and a licensed Therapist to boot.. Susan is so raw and honest and backs her teaching of the Divorce Care Curriculum with Biblical backing.. I decided to see if any of the other Divorce Care attendees wanted to maybe meet at the live service. Since we are all without a partner and I did not want to go alone. So we did !!! 3 of us met and it was a Great time and service !! Pastor Chris Brown was teaching and just spoke to me in a way I love to be taught .. I decided to also sign up for the Men's conference and was overwhelmed with welcoming and True Biblical teaching along with the True Manly Fun we all had . About 800 guys ,Men of all ages worshiping the Lord at the same time was Breath taking for me .. I have a home church I attend but North Coast will also be a new home of True Christian Fellowship and for me to fill up on my Daily Doses and Small groups even after Divorce Care is Over and Sunday services ... This is Truly a Holy Spirit and Christ Lead Church ... Thank you to you all for being a support in this Very hard time in my life and walking beside me holding me up in Christ .. Forever Thankful and Grateful . I am a North Coast Vista Family Member for life ...

The most unique, diverse, yet personal campus (even though it's probably the biggest campus). It gives you different ways to worship and it's so easy to understand the message. I've been attending for a little over a month now and I love it!
