King Kullen

There are many good points as well as some flaws. A great point is that there is a big parking lot, great selection & variety of deli meats, salads and other foods at the Deli counter and always fresh. With terrific service. Their choice of meats are Boars Head, in house salads. The store is clean and well stocked. Expanded store hours on weekends. Helpful staff. Shelves are always stocked with a wide variety of foods. The draw back is the produce selection, while slightly varied, is horrible. You are lucky if your fruits (specifically berries) last 2-3 days. Some placed out are all moldy, crushed or others problems. Very expensive. Also, since change of management you do not see any managers anymore helping out, or speaking with shoppers.

I tried walking in 15 minutes before closing and the guy ran to the door and locked it before I could enter. All I needed was dog food. What a joke. I am totally calling a manager or corporate over this. So just know they close early and RUN to the door to lock it 15 minutes before closing. Editing to say… you don’t put 11pm on your store hours and close the doors 15 minutes before. That’s not how it works. I’ve been disappointed with this king kullen for months and after today, I will no longer be coming here if this how they treat their customers, running to the door to lock it.

you can't rely on getting the advertised sale price, every time I get home I check my reciept and often there is a mistake, it cost more money to go back and deal with customer service than it's worth, and its impossible to check prices at the cashier, the mistakes are always in the stores faver, shame on king kullun for cheating the custumer, they need make sure the sale prices are correct

Does King Kullen care about handicapped people? When was the last snowstorm? 2 weeks ago?

Not Good experience’s lately. Customer service desks looks disgusting. I stood there 10 minutes today without being acknowledged by 2 young long hair boys. I was in your store three times this week your cashiers watch the customer packing their bags. What the hell???? Just standing there waiting to pay your bill. Not only are you more expensive than everyone else but who do you think you are. Even the deli dept the customer is bothering them. Do better!! You know what happens when nobody cares.

King Kullen is one of the more higher class grocery stores and beats the pants off of Stop & Shop and Key Food the store is a super clean they offer clean bathrooms to the customers they have quite a huge parking lot they have a very good Bakery and fish selection the people are friendly and courteous they work with you if you have a problem finding something the aisles are arranged in such a way that you have plenty of room to see things and if you have any problem getting stuff that's on the top shelf there's usually somewhere within calling distance a person who works there to give you a hand with anything you don't have to run around the whole store to find someone to give you a hand out of a possible 10 I give King Kullen a 10

Store is well stocked and carries organic choices for products like crackers. I wish they were in MayC.

Although this store is on the larger side and is supposedly open 24 hours, it is not an amazing option for fresh items. I would give the produce section a solid F-. Most items like lettuce, kale, other leafy vegetables, and some of the fruit are rotting on the shelves or are turning into a soft green mush due to over spraying of water and age. Even the prepackaged lettuce is old and rotting in the bag. I had to throw out almost an entire bag of Dole Romaine lettuce due to being so soft and mushy. The Deli section is a whole other issue in itself. I've never seen a number system available, so it's kind of a free for all when ordering if there is a lot of people. The Deli workers themselves are the most unhappy miserable bunch I have ever seen! If you don't want to work in a Deli then don't work there! Sorry to bother you if I'd like to make a sandwich at my house. The bakery section is average, but I only bought fresh bread from them once. It wasn't great. The meat section is average as well but there does seem to be alot of options for different cuts of meat. This store is good for certain things but I stopped buying produce here for sure.
