Asylum 49

Asylum 49 is the scariest and best haunted house I have ever been to! I took my son for his birthday and he had the best time! The ghosts, clowns and zombies and monsters were terrifying and their special effects was amazing as well!! We will definitely go back every year and for all the other cool events they have throughout the year!

Definitely come with fast pass. If you are not willing to pay extra $10. DON’T COME. Pros: 1. Love how the ambulance guy doing his job. Took pictures with tourists as well. All the staff were very hardworking when we are waiting in the line. The staff in the hospital were not impressed at all. 2. They have different themes in the haunted places. I love the crown show. 3. Live dj when get out of the hospital. Cons: 1. The full contact for extra $5 is a joke. A lot of people worn it and the stuff were too busy to contact everyone. Only Some lucky people were chosen. Fear factory won’t charge more for full contact. 2. The management are so poor. We ask ahead if there is group sale and they said free fast pass for 15 people, also been told we can take the advantage at the front desk. When we actually arrive, no advantages at all. Also, there should be an appointment time not as first come first serve. The wait time is way more longer than fear factory. Totally understand because of making more money, why don’t you put more heaters because it’s FREEZING. 3. When get into the line, there is A LOT of pop out iron wire as show in the pictures. So easily for people to get hurt.

Got DOA. Apparently i lasted longer than anyone before tapping out, about four hours straight. Dr Fear and the others are amazing and took good care of me both during and after, I even got walked to my car since i was alone otherwise. Worth the cost and the trip. You guys are all amazing and I can't wait to be here next week. This was the best haunted house and haunted house experience I've ever had. Just a warning: DOA is fun but NOT for the faint of heart, they do NOT go easy on you. Thank you all, Asylum 49! And thanks again for signing the hoodie, Dr Fear!!!

Best haunted house iv been to ever!! Iv been going to nightmare on 13th and this was way better!! They give enough time between groups and the scares are great! I loved the touch feature both my kids got it and loved it! The props look so real and scary! Great job to all of you at Asylum 49 I'm happy dead city moved here! You all have to try it it's really awesome.

Asylum 49 may be an entire hour away but I will ALWAYS come back for more. It is by far my most favorite haunted house here in Utah. Your sets are phenomenally detailed, which really helps to give an immersive experience. Your actors are amazing and always give it their all, and the makeup + costume designs are super cool as well!!! Being able to go to Asylum 49 is always the highlight of my day, I’ve been well over 15 times and it never disappoints. The full-contact pass is super fun every time, i highly recommend it if you’re looking for a deeper experience! I LOVE ASYLUM 49!!!!!!!

I always love returning back here for both Halloween AND the holiday events! However the past few times I’ve gone, it’s been very clear the casts friends were there to visit and they focused all the energy for the touch pass on them. I would consistently see the same actors playing with the same people - which is a bit disappointing considering how far I drive and pay for the full touch experience!

From this point where I took this picture, 15 years ago Zak Baggans starred a Ghost Adventures episode. I've been looking for to visit it years ago. Now the Haunted House has some good immersive sections, like the beggining psychiatric rooms and hallways, but some less worked areas like the exterior area with the clowns. Great time tonight! Our group had a lot of fun! The line was long, but the extra $5 to get a headset to listen to the live DJ’s music was well worth it. The staff was energetic and fun! The animatronics and jump scares made for a great night with friends. 5 star rating! Did not disappoint at all.
