Feed My Starving Children

This is an excellent way to help those most in need of food. They have a super easy workflow where groups are filling and sealing bags of rice porrage that has soy protein, vegetables and vitamins. It is a balanced diet for children who otherwise would be eating clay or grass. It takes about two hours and everybody gets to participate. It is a way to change the world for the better.

Fun way to build cameraderie while serving those less fortunate around the globe. It was nice that they calculated how many meals were packaged by the volunteers before we left. They also have a lovely selection of items in their little market area that are handmade by people around the world, and the proceeds go back into the charity to keep it funded.

Signed up through my company, went with my group & the worker's here were super helpful in helping everyone check in & get us all set up with hair nets & beard covers. They needed warehouse support so of course I jumped in to help that team. I was the box filler 6 across & 6 high, flipping front & back packaging for each layer... was able to box up 49 boxes in the time span we were given. If you want a more hands on volunteer experience give this place a try.

You've got to experience this place. Our local professional concierge group booked a philanthropic session here, and it's a powerful way to serve together. We helped scoop, weigh, seal, and box meals for people in need around the world, and learned how important cleanliness and care are before everything gets shipped. For those of us spending too much time behind screens most days, it felt amazing to actually use our hands and time to do something that truly matters.

I went with a friend to volunteer. I never knew this organization existed, it's wonderful, they help feed children around the world. They have things there you can buy made by people of countries everywhere, that money then is used to help feed more children. Very pretty things, such as baskets, jewelry, t-shirts among other things handmade. While preparing these food packages, it definitely reminds one of how blessed we are in our country. They are hiring right now, a worthy career or volunteer a couple hours a day/week/month. I will definitely return to volunteer.

This is a great organization and a wonderful volunteering opportunity. The staff explained the entire process during orientation and they support millions of children around the world. Sarah, our lead person was great as well.

We had a wonderful time volunteering. The team is very organized, and you can truly feel the love and pride they have in serving the community and helping those in need.
