Monte De Oro Winery

If you're heading to Temecula, Monte de Oro needs to be on your itinerary. My husband and I drove down from LA to celebrate my birthday, and this stop was easily one of the highlights of our weekend. We came to this place on the Saturday after my official birthday which was good because my palette was fresh and ready to try new wine. They have been open since 2010 and they The property itself is gorgeous, but the coolest part is definitely the main tasting room. They have this massive glass floor where you can look straight down into the barrel cellar. It's such a unique vibe and makes for amazing photos. And on this day you can even see the set up for a wedding they were having later on that day. We did the premier tasting flight out on the patio by the water and the wine was fantastic. We also ordered some food from the bistro-the strawberry salad with chicken and Parmesan truffle fries-which had great portions we really didn’t even need the fries. The salad with the goat cheese went perfectly with the wine we were drinking. A huge shoutout to Matt, the Operations Manager, who took such great care of us. The entire staff was super welcoming and really made my birthday feel extra special. Highly recommend stopping by whether you're doing a couples trip or a girls' weekend! I can’t wait to come back!

Becca is a phenomenal server. She can speak to all of the wines and the region. Very engaging. I was here alone but had a great time discussing wine and different locales with her. Highly recommend you visit (and this is from someone who is in the industry).

A must try. Our server was such a great guy. He really took his time explaining the wines, the history of Monte De Oro, and surrounding places to check out in Temecula. The property is so peaceful and relaxing, after the tasting, we purchased bottles to both take home and enjoy on the outside patio. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. I’d return and suggest you check them out.

Monte De Oro Winery 美國國慶連假，趁機到Temecula走走。Temecula是南加知名酒鄉，名氣沒北加Napa大，物價也平易近人，一大片丘陵地，散落著十數家的小型釀酒廠，我算了算，也試飲了8家，這回來到的是Monte De Oro Winery，享受純淨無擾的下午。 Monte De Oro Winery的建築不大而寬敞，wine testing是選6種紅白酒，可以在吧台與sommelier聊天，也可以到庭院享受陽光與涼風，我照例先喝杯cabinet sauvignon，煙燻味太重，有點沒那麼合胃口，但是syrah、grenache、melot等重口味的葡萄都很符口味。 我坐在庭院裡，遮陽傘擋住了炙熱的陽光，風涼涼的，都快睡著了，好舒服。結果不知哪個無良的客人點了BBQ，陣陣煙燻的香氣一直飄到我這邊，好餓好餓。我到附近的印第安賭場，到處找有好吃的BBQ料理，一毛錢都沒賭，但也沒滿足口腹之慾。 Temecula的酒莊各具特色，很值得一訪。

Great wine, great food, and a super friendly ambiance! I came with a couple of friends to grab a quick bite and some wine. I had the grille chicken gyro and house fries and we shared some hummus. Man, the food was amazing. In terms of the wines, we had the Cabernet Frac (great strong red) and Unique Elements (chilled and sweeter). The best late Saturday lunch ever! The views from the winery are to die for too. This is the place to bring a date or to chill with friends. Won't be disappointed.

Great place to hang around for a weekend getaway. Nice backyard for wine tasting and only done side is need to walk back and forth TK get your own wine selection after one and another. Most wine tasting will bring all selections to your table. Overall great place to go for weekend getaway ✌️

I absolutely love this beautiful winery! I also love the member perks! I feel I get an education on the wines with each tasting! Madison, and Mary are awesome teachers! I love the reds, and HIGHLY recommend you try a taste of the 2017 Petite Sirah Reserve as well as the double gold metle 2019 Cabernet Franc! The outside area has tables with umbrellas amidst a beautiful fountain overlooking the hills of vineyards!! A MUST TRY!!
