Really cool place and a lot of fun to visit. The highlight is definitely the live glassblowing demonstration, which is super fascinating to watch in person. If you're looking for an interesting and engaging way to spend a few hours, it's absolutely worth checking out!

We loved our visit there, even though all of the share rooms were closed during the renovation. We did get to spend a good time in the hot shop and got to watch a lot of the glass blowing. They did give us two free tickets to come back next year once the share rooms are open again. The staff was very nice and kind and the museum is very clean and organized.

When we arrived, they told us that two exhibits were closed for renovation but that everything else was open. It turned out that “everything else” basically meant a workshop that costs an additional $40 per person and a room where they do glassblowing demonstrations. In my opinion, it’s not worth the price. I think it’s enough to stay outside without paying for admission. The area around the museum is very nice, there’s a beautiful bridge, a water sculpture, another glass sculpture, and a waterfront area with boats

The highlight now is the stadium viewing of the glass making. Very industrial cool setting. They've got it closed down for the exhibits and it's but advertised so that was a misfire for the ticket prices so beware and confirm. The outside is a great walk and view alone.

It was mesmerizing to watch the artists in the Hot Shop create their glass artwork. Expect to watch them for at least an hour while they work. The galleries have beautiful pieces done by various artists. I thought the glass representations of children's drawings were spot on and pleased to see this offered. I stayed for 3 hours, which wasn't long enough! I anticipate returning in a few months.

(Edit Mar 2026 - posted more photos) What an absolutely amazing place! I've been a Chihuly fan for decades, but I'd only been to his museum in Seattle before. This one hit me in all the feels - for some reason I'm only able to post a few of my photos of the incredible glass creations inspired by children's phenomenally inventive drawings, and it's a total shame. (I'll keep trying.) Apparently they choose a child's drawing per month for the artisans to interpret into a glass sculpture. It brought me to tears - fostering children's imagination and instilling pride in their abilities and encouraging playful thinking. So, so amazing, and what a glorious collaboration between the museum and the community. Plus, the other glass art is pretty phenomenal as well. Major props to everyone involved in this admirable project - I can't wait to come back to see what new ideas the kids come up with.

Not a whole lot going on, the store has some really cool art for like $5-10k which is crazy 😂 but to each their own! The hot shop was the highlight, the amount of dedication and precision these people put in is such an honor to watch.

Wonderful glass museum showing the works of the most prolific glass artist in the U.S. Works are shown inside and in the outside garden. Wonderful place.
