Once again Moon Valley Nurseries has provided excellent service. William’s and his Crew did a great job thinning and shaping my Live Oak tree. William was very professional and took the time to explain why he was trimming my tree for future growth and shaping. His crew cleaned the area very good, couldn’t tell that anything had been done. Two Phases of Review: Phase1: visited Moon Nursery to shop for new trees. Wonderful and knowledgeable rep greeted us & took us around to check out various young trees to replace 26 year old Live Oak that blocked much sunlight from bushes, flowers and grass in front yard. Also many surface roots were invading driveway, sidewalk& yard. We ended up purchasing 2 young Green Emerald Blueberry evergreen trees with smaller canopies to allow more light. Moon also came out to inspect Oak Trees to see if they could handle major trimming and cut many roots. Tree stress and likely death to trees convinced us to go forward removing them. Phase2: excavation team of 4, managed by William, came out with their equipment and effectively and safely cut down, specific branches, then fell the 2 trees, cut up trees, grinded the stump and major roots, removed surface roots and cleaned up the debris. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Finished same day and even helped traffic flow on narrow street since they had their large trucks and chipper there. Very professional process let by William who rolled up his sleeves to work alongside his crew. My wife and I was kept informed what was happening. Even couple of neighbors came and viewed the process and were impressed. Now comes the delivery and planting of new trees very soon. We anxiously await to see how the planting crew will impress us.

Highly recommend! John is a fabulous and knowledgeable representative to work with- he has tons of personal experience and has obviously done his research on local plants! He got us squared away with a trim for our big magnolia trees. William's team came out first thing in the morning and did an amazing job! They were friendly and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there (except for the newly trimmed trees!) Thank you, John and William!
