The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center is such a fun and educational experience for young kids! As an early childhood teacher, I have taken students for field trips the last couple of years, and they have the best time! Everything from planning, to the actual trip, is very organized. Each class has its own guide so it makes transitions very smooth and keeps your class together. We plan on visiting again next year! As a parent, I have visited many times with my child for fun special events and play time. It is always clean, well staffed, and plenty of fun and educational activities to do. My son loves it!

The place is basic at its best. Toddlers and kids will enjoy a one-time visit, but I’m not sure what an annual membership offers. The staff is good, and the place is well-managed. However, there’s not much for toddlers, which is contrary to what’s advertised or recommended.

My daughter loved this place. The tot room was her favorite spot. It was very clean, staff even came to sanitize the room and toys. They have plenty of things for children. It wasn’t crowded so my daughter was able to enjoy each room they had to offer. The mini H-E-B was so cute! I’ll definitely be taking my daughter back here

This place sucks. It is very underwhelming and disappointing. You cannot have age gapped kids and enjoy your time here. Only come with one kid. Your 3 year old will not be allowed in tot spot with your 1 year old. Total museum is the size of 1 hallway with about 4 room sized “exhibits”. Payed for my one year old, only to be told we cannot go into the tot spot because I had my 3 year old as well. It was nothing my 1 year old could do. Wasted money. Just go downtown to the children’s museum. Don’t waste your time or money here.

We recently visited the museum using our Houston Library pass, and despite its compact size, it offered a day full of imaginative play and excitement for the kids.
