We visited on a cold November day with my daughter and her friends, and it was absolutely worth it. Every child can find something they love here — from sports activities to creative projects. The girls dressed up as actors and performed on stage, made crafts from cardboard boxes, built little houses out of soft blocks, explored the “jungle,” and even put out a pretend fire. A wonderful place for families. Definitely worth a visit! 👍

Really really loved this place my kids had a blast here with all the hands on stuff They especially love the dress up fire station and construction site Totally worth the $10 a person

Is a great place for small kids, has Interactive games, a huge chess game and many more. Nice AC inside and out door games for small kids too. A small cafeteria with vending machines, a floor dedicated to arts and craft and insects. Really clean and the staff were pretty nice. Elevators for people with strollers or wheelchairs.

I have not been there personally, but my son has been there twice and both times he came home talking nonstop about how fun Mr. Isaiah is. As a parent, that says a lot because kids are honest about where they enjoy being. He made the experience exciting, welcoming, and memorable enough for my son to want to go back and keep talking about it afterward. It’s always nice knowing your child feels comfortable, happy, and genuinely enjoys the atmosphere.

The place was good, but you should buy tickets for 2 years old child.that is little unusual .

Updated 03/2025 Still an amazing place!!! Unreal that it is still 8$ admission 5 years later with free parking. We love the grounds around the museum as well. Super well kept and tons of place to run and play. Can’t wait for summer adventures this year Great place! Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking and not to crowded!! Also the price of 8$ is more than fair. The kids had a great time with lots to do and see. Great for a variety of ages. Also they had a little snack zone with reasonably priced snacks. Bathrooms were also very clean. We ended the day with a picnic in the field.

The museum is a must go. My daughter’s favorite exhibit is the habitat room and the house exhibit. She also loves to go in the workshop with Jackie who was great and helped her be creative! The entire staff is very friendly. Miss Megan led a tour group for my daughter and she told me about how she learned so many things about nature and the environment from her and that she couldn’t wait to come back and ask her more questions. We will be back!

The Staten Island Children's Museum is a great place for kids ages 3 to 10. The Hands-On arts and crafts area lets children make fun and creative projects. There are lots of fun things to do and explore all around the museum.
