This veterinary clinic and its staff are top notch. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Dr Meleleo provides exceptional care and support. The whole staff including Dr Meleleo spends time explaining the care and answers all questions. They are very responsive to follow up questions and returns all calls. They are helpful over the phone and asks detailed questions in order to provide the right support. I have taken my pets to various clinics and this is one of the best. They treat your canine family members like their own.
I’ve been bringing all of my large breed dogs to Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital for over 10 years, and they have always been amazing. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, caring, and truly take the time to make sure my dogs receive the best care possible. It’s important to me to have a team I can trust, and they’ve consistently been there for us through every stage of our dogs’ lives. The staff is also always kind, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care.
Had dogs my whole life, lived all over and went to ALOT of different vets. This one is the best by a long shot. The staff actually cares and actually helps. Especially post surgery or post visit. They want to help and they go out of their way to follow up with you and check in. Very good after care for my puppy who had surgery. For that I’m locked in with them for life. 10/10 service. Every staff member at Pleasant Plains from the wonderful staff at the front desk to the technicians to the nurses and the vets, All of them are just amazing! From start to finish, you will never be disappointed. My dog has got many issues going on. She is 15 years old and she had to be hospitalized there. I could not ask for a more amazing loving, kind and knowledgeable team that works around the clock to ensure the well-being of our pets. I highly recommend pleasant Plains to anyone with any type of pet. I have sat in their waiting room many times and watch many different types of animals come in the door and the amount of love that is shown to every animal and customer that walks in the door is amazing. Thank you all for the amazing job you do from the bottom of my heart. You are all amazing
i’ve been bringing my pets here for a while, but i just had my kitten spayed here and they were so wonderful. a huge thank you to everyone here and for being so kind, thank you so much to everyone here for taking such great care of little kiki. i had work the next day when i had to pick her up and they were very accommodating to let me pick her up after i got out. honestly, everyone here is so accommodating. spays are so common, but i did have a cat pass away at a different vet afterwards and it stuck with me. i was so nervous for my little kiki, but they sent updates and informed me of everything going on. thank you so so so much! i would and will recommend this place to anyone that has a pet that they love!
I took my dog to this vet a week ago. The doctor noticed some redness in the ear and did not give any antibiotics said that the dog did not have an ear infection brought the dog back a week later with dehydration, and now the ears were very infected at this point they charge an extra office visit and an extra thousand dollars for dehydration. Had they given the medication from the beginning I wouldn’t have had to pay $1300 for this visit and they knew that, but by trying to make money off of me. Because they knew I had some sort of insurance. When I spoke to them about how I can’t afford this and that I was just there a week ago was spending $300 I said well at that point it wasn’t so bad if they had given an antibiotics that day I would’ve had to spend this much money and that’s terrible that a veterinarian who’s supposed to help dogs just care cares about the money in their pocket asked to speak to the manager about this so sorry so sorry we had to charge you an extra $1300. That’s all she kept saying $1300 for an ear visit. Think about that when you go to use this vet
Dr Meleleo is the best. I have trusted him with my pets completely for the past twelve years. He has always taken the time to explain the situation, answer all my questions and is always approachable. I know my dogs are well cared for here. The entire staff is wonderful from the moment we walk in, until we leave.
