We love this place!! What a hidden gem!! Nice Sandy beach and grassy areas to set up. Bathrooms were great. Free parking is available with a short walk or paid parking at the bottom is also an option. Great spot for a family gathering! We just had a get-together here for Father's Day that was a hit.

There is ONE sign at this park that says no dogs… but I have taken my dogs there for years. I think what they’re REALLY saying by that is no off-leash dogs, and no abandoned dog poop. When I go I always keep my dogs under control and clean up after them quickly. They are trained to stay right by me even when off the leash, but I still am sure to leash them if there are other people or dogs in the area. No one has said anything to me about not taking them yet!

Cute baby ducks here. Great place to bring your paddle boards or sand toys. The kids spend hours here.

Very fun place to take kids paddle boarding. They groom the beach so it’s nice and smooth. Water is fairly clear, you can see fish swimming. The pavilions are a nice place to eat your lunch. It costs to park but it’s worth it.

Overall a great place to go. I prefer going earlier in the day before the crowds. It gets super crowded in the summer, almost overkill especially during summer prime hours. We need like 5 of these locations! :) It's nice though because you can visit year round. Two things that prevents a full 5 star review for this reservoir . 1st - The facilities should be kept up better. They are kinda grunchy. Particularly seeing how this is a fairly new location built. I want to at 2018? Either way they need to be rebuilt cleaned and they just are not. Also, if official hours are from 7 am - 10 pm, there should be someone there to clean them? 2nd - The "beach sand" is only getting worse every year. It used to be pure soft white sand. You could actually build a sand castle. Now....good luck. It's literally small rock dirt. Springville at least once a year import new sand and get rid of the crap that makes this location less desirable. Keep in mind during peak season months, You do need a parking pass. You can pay onsite or if you are a springville resident you can go to the city building with proof of residency and get a pass for free. Quiet hours are from 10 pm -7 pm Monday thru Sunday. Yes, you can fish here, and there are plenty of ducks and a few other critters running around. Has a nice paved walking path around the reservoir. Overall a great place to go.

Awesome small lake. Perfect amount of water space to paddle board or kayak and swim around while the back end of the lake is perfect for fishing. There is space for everyone! I loved that it was big enough for the water fun of our choosing and still small enough to keep an eye on our group. Beautifully maintained grounds with a restroom and large parking area with overflow parking up the street. Overall, it was a great experience!!

We love this place! The beach is sandy so it’s a ton of fun for the kids. We come here to paddle board and bbq and it’s perfect. The water is quite cold, which makes sense since it’s right at the mouth of the canyon, but not cold enough that you can’t swim. Saturdays and Sundays can get crazy-busy, but we’ve been a LOT and never once had an issue with there not being parking or with not being able to find a spot on the beach.

Beautiful park but too expensive for parking. $16 is a little steep.
