Loose Caboose

Loose Caboose is a great stop when visiting Old Town Spring. The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe and a fun mix of things to see and enjoy. What really makes it stand out is the variety of food options available. You can find a good selection of dishes to enjoy while you sit back and take in the atmosphere—perfect for a casual meal or just grabbing something tasty while you explore. On top of that, the live music adds a special touch to the experience. It creates a lively but still comfortable environment that makes the visit feel more memorable without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly, service is smooth, and the overall experience fits perfectly with the charm of the area. Definitely a nice spot to eat, relax, and enjoy good music while spending time in Old Town Spring.

The Loose Caboose is such a fun spot with an awesome atmosphere! From the unique setup to the laid-back vibe, everything about this place makes you want to stay and enjoy yourself. The food was so good—those loaded fries were next level—and the drinks were perfect.

Crawfish was honestly pretty disappointing — not very fresh and kinda bland.Tried to eat a couple of them, but there was literally no taste at all. wouldn’t come here for the food again. But the place has a nice vibe, live music is actually fun. It’s a decent spot if you’re just trying to hang out and have a few drinks, not for the crawfish though.

Without exaggerating, this was one of the best burgers that I have ever had. I’ve lived in Houston for over 37 years and have obviously eaten all kinds of burgers from countless restaurants. The freshness and thickness of the burger patty is incomparable to fast food restaurants. Check out the picture as proof. This was their standard Caboose Burger. I was in the area and needed a quick meal, so a friend recommended I check it out. I had the burger and fries (which were tasty seasoned fries, also very fresh) to go. However, I was quite impressed by the decor of the restaurant. They have outdoor patio seating, but also a nice cozy area to sit inside. Check out the video to get a vibe of this authentic mom and pop burger restaurant in the heart of Texas! I will definitely have to bring my friends and family to try this place out, in case they want something other than McDonald’s or Whataburger 😉 -😎 P.S. My burger cost less than $10! 🧡🧡🧡

This is our go to spot for a quick, tasty and large portion lunch or dinner. I like that you can wait in line a short while, go sit at your table and get the food very quickly, especially when you have young kids you don’t need to be waiting for a waiter or waitress. They have a large outdoor sitting area, a small indoor one(not needed). The lady who takes your orders is very sharp and on point. My only complaint is how loud live music can get in the main area. It’s hard to have any conversation.

Good food, good atmosphere with plenty of attitude from the lady front cashier. Old springs all in all is a great place. She might of been having a bad day, and I can relate but it does sour an experience. Try it for yourself. Hopefully she is having a better day.

If you're in the area definitely stop by and grab an L-Train Dog (Chicago Style). One of my favorites, among others, there.
