Flying Pug Sports Bar

Met up with a buddy for crawfish and to catch up. Our server Kayleigh was great! I love their fried mushrooms. My buddy got the pretzel bites. Really yummy! I had three Moskow Mules. I'd hoped for a Mojito, but they were out of mint. Bummer. I got two pounds of crawfish with their spicy garlic. Wasn't too spicy, but it didn't have much of a garlic flavor either. Not bad, but more meh. I'd go back and just try some of their other menu items.

Good service but they nickel and dime to the maxxxx. First, they charge a buck for each pair for plastic gloves when you order crawfish but that’s what the majority of people in the restaurant were eating. They charge extra for corn and potato- okay that’s normal but then you bring out less than an inch of corn and half a mini potato? Thats crazy. It wasn’t terrible food for the one time but we won’t be coming back.

🐶🍻🦞🏀🎯🎱 Flying Pug Sports Bar is definitely a cute concept and somehow that concept has translated into a full sports bar vibe. My crew and I got to catch some NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament and a little March Madness of our own while visiting The Woodlands, and the energy in the place was great for game watching. There’s also pool and darts to keep the fun going between games. Definitely get your crawfish fix while you’re there and the staff were very friendly and attentive the whole time.

I love they have various sports being played. My boiled shrimp was great. The customer service was great 3 had 3 different waitress. Lol I will come back during crawfish season and give them a try.

10/10 highly recommended!! Adam is absolutely amazing and does an amazing job running the restaurant! He was so helpful, very kind , and has amazing customer service. He accommodated my children and was really a great overall! We have always loved this spot and will continue to show up for the food and drinks!!

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience at Flying Pug really disappointed me. My son and I ordered steaks during the steak special, and both came out extremely overcooked — dry to the point they tasted like well-done pork chops instead of steak. My sister’s steak was the same, but she chose to keep hers while my son and I politely sent ours back. I completely understand specials and restaurant policies, but if food is prepared incorrectly, customers should still be treated with respect and offered reasonable customer service. What bothered me most was the way the blonde manager handled the situation. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. This was my first real issue here because I’ve seen situations handled much differently at other restaurants. I wasn’t expecting anything unreasonable just properly cooked food or basic hospitality when bringing up a legitimate concern. Hopefully management takes customer experience more seriously moving forward. Cause this clearly is medium rare or even medium

Crawfish isn't as good this year. Last year the sauce on the crawfish was amazing. This year it tastes like they just dunk them to cook them and don't let them soak to absorb the seasoning.

The service was not very good. The interaction was awkward. The carbonation was out so all the drinks were not good at all. The waitress never offered a glass of water or anything. She did come to the table multiple times so I do want to acknowledge that however we were eating crawfish so she was dumping the shells which is appreciated. My first visit there was much better so I am hoping maybe it was just an off day overall.
