Overall it’s a Pretty good trail for a nice walk or even quick jog. Calm not much noise. Lots of people walking their dogs. Trail is easy going all ages Will definitely be coming back as the season progresses. Go now to avoid the bugs lol

Good place for a short walk or for fishing. Trails loop around and criss cross each other.

Beautiful park with well maintained trails and scenic views of Carpenter Lake. Part of the trail near the dam is under construction so that was disappointing. Great picnic area and clean facilities. Boulder garden is fun to explore.

It's a wonderful free nature park. It's very serene walking through it. It's not large & overwhelming. When you pull into the parking lot, you will see tons of huge magnificent boulders that children & adults love to climb on. The paths are clean & very easy to walk on. There is a beautiful little lake in there. They have beautful boardwalk to look over the lake. No swimming. I never saw anyone fishing. You can walk your dogs on a leash. There are bathrooms. People can have a little picnic if they like. I didn't see barbecue grills. It's not a large parking where you can get lost. It's just very clean & peaceful. There are also benches around to sit on. There is a large parking lot right there. It's the huge boulders that are such a fascinating & unexpected unique look that you will see when you first drive in. It never feels crowded. You might see a lot of cars in the lot but it never seems crowded when walking in the nature park.

Never knew this place was here. Such a neat park with the huge boulders in the front portion. I like how they have signs to explain where these huge rocks are from and how epically old they are. It's a neat layout that has you walking about to appreciate each. You can feel the energy /vibrations of the area and it just makes you feel good. Then the trail in the back is a short hike around by the lake. Seems to have been some storm damage and trees had fallen as the platform by the lake was closed off but still able to walk around and get to the other area that's by the lake in back. Recommend checking it out.

Very nice park. Has a trail but right now being renovated so a big part of it is closed off. They have a big area of rocks to climb on and explore for kids. They are plaques stating where the boulders came from and what they are. This would be good for extra learning.
