The Club At Savannah Harbor

Had an incredible round of golf. The course was in great shape even after it having stormed the day before. I had been concerned about the mosquitoes based upon the other reviews, but there were none on any of the holes. It was breezy out, so maybe that’s what kept them away. I got a great deal on GolfPass but it was worth way more. Will definitely play again next time I’m passing through.

Played golf 2 days with the Senior Amateur Tour. Golf course was in excellent condition. Very fair fun and challenging course. It was very hot, but we did see bev cart girl 5 times and they have ice/water stations on each 9. Huge practice area. It was a little odd getting to the carts. Best to drop bag at bag drop and let them carry it around.

We played it in mid February. Despite everything being dormant, it's a solid track. Mostly wide fairways and GIANT greens. Plenty of 3 putt opportunities 🤦‍♂️. Pretty flat, but the wind picked up during the round and made it challenging. GPS on the carts was helpful for a first timer, but still tricky to figure out the line on some tee shots. Pro shop was well stocked and staff was friendly. The only knock can be seen in the last photo... When we got to the bag drop to pick up our clubs, both of them were laying on the ground. I assume the wind blew them over. Nothing got broken, but the fall did ding up some of my irons.

Nice course, but the overall experience fell short. If you’re going to charge premium rates, require everyone to rent clubs, and enforce policies that position the course as a high-end golf destination, the service should match that standard. Our group of 12 couldn’t even get food or drinks at the turn because the bar was closed, which is something most golf courses accommodate. To make matters worse, the trolley back to the Westin never showed up, leaving us to walk back in the rain. The course itself was enjoyable, but the customer experience did not reflect the price we paid.

Absolutely great golfing experience here. The course holds water more than it should but overall the conditions were great. Nice carts and range that are included in the price as well. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BRING BUG REPELLENT! I did not and I currently have 30+ bites all over myself so beware.

Golfing at The Club at Savannah Harbor was an absolutely unforgettable experience and easily deserves a 5-star review. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier—staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about maintaining a premier golfing destination. The course itself is a masterpiece, beautifully situated along the Savannah River with stunning views of the historic downtown skyline and the Talmadge Bridge. Each hole offered a unique challenge, with well-manicured fairways, fast greens, and strategic bunkering that kept things exciting without being punishing. I came here while attending a business convention in Savannah and was blown away by the quality of the course and overall experience. The natural Lowcountry scenery, with its marshlands and Spanish moss-draped oaks, adds a serene backdrop that makes every round feel like a retreat. The pace of play was just right, and the carts were equipped with GPS, which was a nice touch for navigating the course and managing distances. After the round, we enjoyed drinks and food at the clubhouse, which offers fantastic views and a relaxing atmosphere. This facility is top-notch across the board. I will absolutely be coming back on my own time. This course is a must-play for any golf enthusiast visiting Savannah.

This is a must play if you are coming to Savannah or staying. Great course layout, fairways were good and the greens fast and true. The staff was superb in the pro shop. The restaurant was open for breakfast and service was good.

Fun and challenging course. Conditions were excellent. Great practice facilities with range and large putting green that are extremely well maintained. Would highly recommend playing if you are in the area! (Tip: wear bug spray. Not the courses fault at all; just the reality of the golf course around bodies of water. We wore bug spray and had zero issues. Those in our group that did not, was a different story. Will 100% be back to play this course.)
