Lavender Rooftop Kitchen & Bar

We visited Lavender Rooftop Kitchen & Bar and overall had a really nice experience. We did have reservations, but when we arrived our table was still occupied by a group of ladies. Not ideal, but the staff handled it and seated us at another table—and honestly, the view ended up being fabulous, so no real complaints there. I’m an old-fashioned girl, so I ordered an Old Fashioned, and I have to say—it was wonderful. Definitely hit the spot. One of my sons didn’t care for his drink (I can’t remember exactly what he ordered), but everything else made up for it. We ordered the meat and cheese tray along with the jamón and queso croquettes. The food was tasty and nicely presented. My only little critique—the dipping sauce for the croquettes was a bit underwhelming. It tasted like ranch with chives. I would’ve loved to see something with a little more Spanish flair, maybe a paprika aioli or something along those lines. The atmosphere, the views, and the overall vibe really make this place worth visiting. It’s a great spot to relax, take in Savannah from above, and enjoy some good food and drinks. I’d definitely come back.

atmosphere is beautiful and our server was AMAZING- wish i had gotten his name so i could give him a shoutout. drinks were good but food was kinda not as great for what they are selling it for. my husband got a burger that wasn’t anything crazy, and my ropa vieja was kinda subpar. i definitely don’t think our bill was worth $100+ so for that i probably won’t be back

Lovely rooftop restaurant with beautiful sunset views over the river and city of Savannah. The cocktails were excellent (and so pretty!). Food service was very quick. Fish tacos were excellent and thr lavender honey ice cream was an excellent end to the meal.

Excellent after work place for an afternoon gathering. Great view of the Savannah River. The food was excellent! Upscale, mature atmosphere. Excellent smash burger! 💯

The place was good but the service we got from Mayra and Misa at the bar was outstanding. My partner always had hard time getting his black Manhattan well but Mayra knew how to make it perfectly.We were in town for a weekend getaway and the next time we come back to Savannah we will definitely visit Lavender rooftop , the service we received was great!

From the moment we arrived, Lavender Rooftop Kitchen & Bar exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere is beautiful, the panoramic views are simply breathtaking, and without a doubt, it offers the best rooftop view in Savannah. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality. Supervisor Shawn and every member of his team made us feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to every detail created an experience that felt warm, personal, and sincere. We were especially touched by how lovingly they treated our dogs. Finding a place that is truly dog-friendly is rare, but here our pets were welcomed with the same dignity, care, and affection as every other guest. It meant the world to us. As a gay couple, we also deeply appreciated the respect, inclusivity, and genuine warmth we experienced throughout our visit. Lavender is clearly a place where everyone is welcomed, celebrated, and made to feel at home. The positive energy is contagious, and you can truly feel the heart behind the service. If you’re visiting Savannah, don’t miss this gem. Outstanding food, spectacular views, incredible service, and a team that makes you feel like family. Lillie gave our girl group the best service. We cannot say enough good things about the bar staff or the manager. They worked with us to create the best surprise for our friend. The food was phenomenal, and Lillie made great recommendations. We will be back.

Had an amazing time here thanks to the VERY friendly and accommodating staff (in addition to the food of course)! Mina & Toria were both exceptionally welcoming and contributed heavily to my day starting off great. In addition to checking on me while dining, they gave me excellent referrals to explore Savannah further, and shared some of their personal experiences with the city after showing me the view of the river after I ate. 5/5 experience and many thanks to Mina, Toria, and the rest of the friendly staff as well!
