What an amazing museum rooted in history! Honestly wasn't sure what to expect when walking in. Michael at the desk was helpful and welcoming, and provided a brief history of the incredible property the museum sits on. The cars and exhibits are clean and informative with helpful staff to answer any questions. Super fun and interesting, especially if you are spending the day in the park. Would recommend for couples, or families! Thanks for a great experience!

Had a blast! Such a cool place presenting and preserving motorsports history. Much bigger than I thought. First floor was the new Mercedes exhibit and the second floor was a bunch of random cars including a 1/33 Ferrari Testa Rossa.
This place is amazing. The museum located in the state park. And it has so many cars. This time we went they display Mercedes Benz from many type. You should go here
While spending a weekend in Saratoga Springs, we decided to stop by the Auto museum. On display were several American muscle cars, all restored to prestige condition. Also on display was one of the original Monkey mobiles from the popular 1960s TV show which I loved. The 2nd floor wasn't open because it was being painted, so we'll have to go back. Parking and location are great. Just a fun place to stop and reminisce. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic.
had a great experience visiting the Saratoga Automobile Museum. The museum is well curated, easy to navigate, and packed with interesting vehicles that highlight both automotive history and racing culture. The exhibits are thoughtfully put together and engaging, even if you’re not a hardcore car enthusiast. Everything is clean, well maintained, and presented in a way that makes the visit enjoyable and informative without feeling overwhelming. If you’re in Saratoga Springs, this museum is absolutely worth the stop and pairs perfectly with a visit to the surrounding park.
Nice small museum with a great collection of cars of all types from all eras. Race cars, luxury cars, experimental cars, even Scarface's (Al Capone) car! Downstairs they have different exhibits that rotate in and out (they even had a Corvette on an actual rotating display while we were there). When you first arrive there are race simulators that are fun to "drive". The docents are very knowledgeable and helpful. The building itself is a nice setting. And the gift shop of course has some cool car memorabilia to take home.
Museum is fine. It’s small but has nice cars. I think $20 a person is a little much for what it offers. Karen however the miserable employee who works in the gift shop is anything but pleasant. She yelled at our 1 1/2 year old for playing w his toy car on the floor after purchasing it in the gift shop. When asked why he couldn’t play w a toy the museum SOLD she said bc “someone could slip and fall and die on it”. I explained I’ve been a pediatric nurse for 17yrs and NEVER heard something so ridiculous. And maybe they should NOT sell toy cars in a CAR MUSEUM if the people who PAY to go to museum can not play with the toys until they leave the museum. It also says on the website kid friendly so maybe people who clearly don’t like children should not work there. I will be putting in a formal complaint tomorrow. Karen please find a new job as you as miserable and make our experience horrible. Kindly, A parent of a little boy who likes cars.
The Saratoga Auto Museum never disappoints, but the current Corvette exhibit is truly something special. It’s an absolute thrill to see rare Concept Cars from the GM Collection. Vehicles that are normally tucked away from public view and are on full display. Seeing these innovative designs up close is a one-of-a-kind experience for any auto lover. What made this visit even more meaningful was seeing the incredible artwork of my good friend, Lyn Hiner, showcased throughout the museum. Her vibrant, expressive automotive art adds an extra layer of energy and elegance to the exhibits. It’s fantastic to see her talent celebrated in such a perfect setting. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area—this exhibit alone is worth the trip!
