Bayfront Park

This is a very small but amazing park at the bay!!! It's very beautiful!!! Plenty of free parking, restrooms from 7 to midnight, O'learys Tiki Bar and grill with delicious food and cocktails at reasonable prices...amazing free music...the park is very well lit for a late night visit...renovated large playground and illuminated splash pad...dolphins water fountain, marina with beautiful mega yatchs, plenty of benches and picnic tables all over, beautiful cypress, dog friendly, wheelchair accessible, private paid 2 hour cruises on site, very beautiful and peaceful park!!!

The walk from the park is always a highlight, even after many years. It’s easygoing and relaxing, and for the kids it’s a real flashback. Especially on summer days, it’s something special—you might not expect it, but there are also shaded seating areas, a pavilion, a picnic area, and the restrooms aren’t too far away. There’s even a splash pad and a playground, which makes it perfect for cooling off and for kids to play. Otherwise, it does get busy, even during the week, but there are covered areas and it’s always nice to come back here and cool down. Afterwards, you can also go out for something to eat nearby, and there are parking spaces that are easy to reach. It’s great for kids, and even the beachside parking is always nice.

Beautiful park with amazing waterfront views. It’s very well maintained and has a great atmosphere. There are plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance, plus a spot right inside the park to grab a bite to eat. This was my first time visiting..about an hour from home but I’ll definitely be stopping by again whenever I’m in the area.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Bayfront Park, and it was truly a memorable experience. Each display invites reflection and encourages visitors to see the world through a more compassionate and understanding lens. The combination of meaningful art and the peaceful park setting creates a unique and enriching atmosphere that resonates with visitors of all ages. It’s evident that a great deal of care and intention went into creating this exhibit, making it both visually captivating and emotionally impactful. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this beautiful and important display to the community. It is a powerful reminder of the value of embracing our differences and celebrating what unites us all.

Stunning views, tons of things to do with kids, ample amount of parking. Beautiful Banyan trees, meditative experience early morning, walk from downtown and yet secluded, gem full of nature's elements immersion. They have marvelous display of artwork. Loved it!!

Walked around the Bayfront Park and visited local restaurants near by! Relaxing with plenty of seating along the trail for views! Cute little splash park for the kiddos too! Must visit in Sarasota ☀️

Small but lovely waterfront Park in downtown Sarasota. Clean, safe, and great for a short walk after a beach day. There’s a nice playground for kids, yachts at the marina, and O’Leary’s Tiki Bar & Grill nearby for snacks or drinks. The famous dolphin fountain sculpture - “Dolphin Fountain” wasn’t working in October 2025, but sunset views here are beautiful!

I found this place while I was out driving last week. I have never been in the area and needed to stop to stretch my legs after driving for a while. I walked around the park looking at all of the statues. You can see the water and there.There is a marina with boats. I enjoyed walking around, it was very quiet and laid back. There are benches to sit on and relax. And there is a play area for the children. I will definitely go back if I am in the area again.
