The food, the service, the atmosphere. Everything was great. We walked in shortly after opening. There was no wait (but I've heard the lines can get long, later in the day). I got some BBQ chicken, Pork BBQ ribs, a loaded baked potato and a plate of onion rings. The potato was cooked through perfectly and was served with thick cutting bacon, butter and sour cream. The meats were very juicy, fall off the bone, delicious. I really liked the BBQ. It slightly tangy with a little kick, but not spicy. The onions rings were perfectly coded. Every bite had a nice crispness from the breading with a little sweetness from the onion. Overall I'd say this has become one of my top favorite BBQ places. I'll definitely be coming back again.
Ordered the rib meal and the chicken meal and a side of tri-tip. The chicken was a little on the dry side. The ribs were good, nice and soft, fell off the bone. The tri-tip was more like pastrami really thin and overcooked. Fries were good, once you added the creole seasoning that's on the table. Most tangy macaroni salad I've ever had. Potato salad, Beans and the cornbread were good. Self serve soda machines.
Maybe it was just a bad batch of ribs but they were not as soft to the bite and more fatty than usual. Fortunately the bbq sauce helps a lot and I love the bbq sauce. The veggies could use some seasoning and were flavorless. I did enjoy the sweet beans. I did notice prices have gone up, maybe due to inflation but overall, I would go again.

As a first timer here my fam and i had a really good experience everyone was so kind the food is delicious their cornbread is delicious 😋 i loved their sweettea also 😋
I’ve always love Phil’s as their beef ribs are perfect! Love the sides (but wish onion rings could be substituted for fries!). They’re always clean and well staffed and service is top notch. I’ve actually eaten in the bar area and they donut all in there as well, take your order too!!!
I’m not angry just hella disappointed. Drove 20 miles to get these after not having them for so long and like was this someone else’s who ate off it already? I’ve never had them look like this before it’s always been STACKED and actually presentable. Please please PLEASE step your game up!
This place was great! So accommodating even for our group of 20. The food came out hot and delicious and the staff was very polite. Miguel was especially helpful to our table and it could have been a mess with the many kids we had, but he was there to assist throughout the meal. Thanks again!
