I have been getting my 1995 BMW 540i smog checked at Santa Monica Motors for at least 20 years. It is always an excellent experience. The staff is lovely. The technicians go above and beyond. Bob is always ready with a friendly advice and information. The facility is clean and well managed with a nice outdoor seating area. Waits are never long. Coming here turns a CA DMV Smog check requirement from a chore to a pleasure.

We have always had excellent service at Santa Monica Motors. At our most recent visit, they were able to fit us in at the last minute before a road trip. I like that their inspection report is sent with photos.

Fantastic service. Very helpful, kind, friendly staff. Bob is great. They also do registration so you can get your current license plate stickers/tags. The place is clean & bright. They have a nice shaded patio area where you can wait. I got my car smog checked here. And they are fast - efficient. And they are also dog-friendly which gets 5 extra stars in my book

I was there a very very short time and got smog for my 1994 Mercedes Benz there's a place to sit and parking. I will come back again! Santa Monica Motors also sends alerts to your phone when smog is due and you can even schedule a appointment there. They have nice staff and there's multiple people working there to make sure you are being helped.
