Meat On Ocean

I had the most amazing bread I’ve ever eaten .. honestly enough to make me want to come sit at the bar just for cocktails and bread alone. We had the wagyu flight and the 60-day dry-aged steak, and every single bite was unbelievable. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail throughout the entire meal made it feel like such a special dining experience. The ambience was warm, upscale, and inviting without feeling pretentious, and the service from Valentina was absolutely phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where the food, atmosphere, and service all exceed expectations, but this absolutely did. Already looking forward to my next visit.

We ended up at Meat on Ocean thanks to the enthusiasm of the hostess team, and they set expectations high from the start. Luckily, the experience matched the hype. The atmosphere struck a great balance, lively but still comfortable. Our server, Kirby, was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the meal. We went with the center cut tenderloin served with mushrooms and asparagus, and it did not disappoint. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and even the fries were a standout, crispy and hard to stop eating. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience that we would happily repeat.

A great variety of wines and aged meat, with a western interior design. Portions are quite big for one person. Located next to the public parking. If you avoid the rush hours you will have a nice ocean view. Loved their pistachio creme Brule.

I went to Meat on Ocean on Valentine’s Day with my love one. I love the sunset and the atmosphere portrayed by the restaurant. The food was delicious, we ordered the pork ribs, the 120 days old rib eye and the traditional beef tartare. The pork ribs were the softest ribs I have ever eaten and the rib eye is really really tender and also have a butter taste to it. It is crusty on the outside but soft inside. Delicious! The beef tartare was also good. Service was also amazing. We didn’t know what the different years meant for steaks. The server patiently explained all the difference.

Very good. Expensive but great views. CJ at the bar is super friendly and on top of it. Got the 60 day aged ribeye. It was very good. Little undercooked first go round but they fixed it quickly and gave me some more wine for the mistake. Mushrooms were good. Wine is reasonably priced.

We come to Meat on Ocean for pretty much any occasion--birthdays, anniversaries, dinners with friends, or just because. Every time we eat here, we know we'll be back. The steak is always amazing, and the atmosphere never disappoints. We're always happy to see the manager, Brian, when we come in. He goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience and is quick to take care of anything that comes up. Such a great manager. We've also had Tim as our waiter several times, and he's fantastic-super attentive, polite, and on top of everything. This place has truly become our go-to, and we'll definitely keep coming back and bringing friends with us. Thanks for always delivering a great experience!

we came here 2 years ago for father's day and my dad fell in love with it. we came again this year and it was 10 times better. the waitress was so kind and funny. the food was AMAZING. very expensive place but so worth it if you are splurging as a gift for someone, special occasion, or if you just got it like that 😂. 10/10 would recommend if you can afford it and are willing to brave the parking of santa monica

One of the best steaks I've ever had. They were accommodating when I asked to sit at the more desirable tables to watch the sunset during my boyfriend birthday dinner. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable and made GREAT suggestions! We will definitely be back!
