I had a fantastic experience with Joy Automotive Service & Repair. Jesse and his crew were outstanding from start to finish. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Jesse kept me informed every step of the way, which I really appreciated especially since the repair involved dealing with a third-party extended warranty company. He handled everything smoothly and made the whole process much less stressful. What really stood out to me was how fair and honest their pricing is. I’ve worked with several mechanics before and haven’t always had the best experiences, but Joy Automotive was completely transparent and trustworthy. I’ve always taken my Jeep to the dealership for service, but after this experience, I can confidently say Joy Automotive is hands-down better when it comes to pricing, turnaround time, and communication. The complimentary car wash at the end was a really nice bonus too. Highly recommend Jesse and his team!

I was traveling from out of state when I had a transmission issue. Sergio did a great job of explaining the process. They exchanged the transmission fluid on my truck and saved me a few hundred dollars from the dealership price. I travelled home over 1600 miles without any issues. I’m glad they were recommended to me!

During the inspection, everything was extremely organized and presented in a clear electronic format—he sent a link with photos and easy-to-understand explanations of everything that was found. Sergio was incredibly transparent and fair with pricing, and he took the time to walk me through the repairs and actually educate me instead of rushing or talking over my head. Since I’m not very well-versed in automotive issues, I especially appreciated that he even took the time to speak with my dad to make sure we were all comfortable with the decisions being made. The repairs were completed in a timely manner, and they also provided a rental car, which was a huge help. Overall, the customer service and level of care were exceptional. I truly felt safe, respected, and taken care of—which is huge for me after past experiences where I felt taken advantage of. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Joy Automotive.

This place is a complete ripoff. I’ve come here for years because they’re in the neighborhood and have decent reviews, but they’ve officially lost my business after this last time. Their prices are consistently astronomical and their work quality is poor. Multiple times over the years I’ve come here, paid for a diagnostic, paid their insane prices for the work they recommend, and driven off their lot only to find a week later the problem still exists. This last time it happened yet again - only this time when I returned to them with the same unresolved issue, they tried to rope me into paying another $1,700 on top of the $1,000 I’d already paid them. $2,700 to fix an oil leak and a coolant leak? I went to Johann’s Independent Mercedes in Hollywood to get a second opinion, and they did the job the same day for less than $800.

I came in for an oil change and asked them to check a possible transmission leak. After diagnosing it, they told me it’s not time to replace it yet and advised me to come back in a month for a re-check. I really appreciated their honesty. I would definitely recommend this auto shop for any car problems or concerns. Sergio was very helpful knowledgeable, transparent, and clear about what needs immediate attention versus what can wait. They give you options without pressuring you, and their prices are very reasonable. I feel confident they’ll help extend the life of my Honda as long as I continue servicing it with them.

Highly recommend this spot! Sergio really cares and was beyond helpful. I appreciate that he recommended I take my car to the dealership to see if the repair is covered under warranty vs having it done there too.

Great experience at Joy Automotive. Gaspar, our service advisor, was incredibly kind and easy to work with. We needed a new thermostat and were on a tight schedule, and they were able to get everything done the same day. The whole process was smooth, communication was clear, and everyone was genuinely helpful. Really appreciated how accommodating they were. Would definitely recommend Joy Automotive.
