Have a done a few different ocean kayaks and this one was probably the best paced one where the guides don’t just pull off with a few folks at the top trying to push frantic pace. Got to see a bunch of wildlife and kayaking through the caves was fun. Best part was they had ferry tickets on days I wanted which quickly disappear on the ferry company’s site. Did the 9-5 ferry to SantaCruz and the longer kayak tour option that starts earlier and that give me a decent amount of time to hike and explore the island.
Awesome kayaking tour of the harbor today. Johnny was a great guide. He was very informative, entertaining and engaging. We learned a bunch, we saw seals and many birds.
My family of three had a great excursion on the Discovery Sea Caves Kayak Tour at Scorpion Anchorage on Santa Cruz (Channel Islands National Park) with Clay. He was very encouraging for our mostly novice group of 6. At least half of us had never kayaked on open sea before, and we all felt in very capable hands. He had lots of great tips and you could really tell he enjoys what he does! He is very knowledgeable about the islands and I highly recommend a tour with him! (Kayaking pics were on our waterproof camera but here is a pic of the beach we launched from!)
One of the best days for my daughter and I. Ever. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in the time leading up to our adventure tour. Day of, exactly the same, and out guide was fantastic! He had so much knowledge to impart on us and was very patient with the less capable kayakers in our group. We'd happily do this again if we.didnt live on the east coast. Thanks, John!

I really appreciated how much we learned about the history, biodiversity and conservation efforts of the Islands. The conditions were perfect and was sick to see the caves up close.
We used this company to book our ferry and sea kayak adventure tour on Santa Rosa in the Channel Islands. They were excellent to deal with. Very thorough and communicative with instructions, what you need to pack, etc. they even have a good video to help.
Our guide Carly was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the area , the wildlife, the caves and kayaking. She was so respectful of her guests. We don’t get those type of guides often! Thank you Carly.

Highly recommend!!!! Our group of 8 hiked and then did the kayaking tour. Our guide Cullen was absolutely perfect! He prepared us well and had a great sense of humor. Cullen was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even went out of his way to rescue a flip flop and phone! We really appreciated his effort and dedication. He worked hard to make sure we could see the marine life and kept us safe at the same time. We are ready to go again and would recommend for all(the youngest in our group was 9).
We just got back from our Santa Barbara to Monterey field trip and everyone agreed hands down our favorite experience was our kayak tour with Marley and Arden. Beautiful scenery. Great adventure and who knew kelp was edible!? Lots of cormorants! Who knew they could dive so deep? The Rainbow Bridge! Again, Marley is the coolest. Lots of knowledge about Chumash people and local ecosystems. Kayak Polo!? Thank you again.
