Korean Friendship Bell

Except for the ganga smoke wafting around, very pleasant visit. People eat in their cars mostly, take a quick spin around the grounds or play hoops... Which is quite a wonderful location to do so... Unless you stink. That outdoor breeze is strong.

Beautiful park in the San Pedro area right next to the ocean. The park amazingly is a lot bigger than it appears on Google maps. Family friendly, dogs and animals friendly, has full sized basketball 🏀 court, amazing views of Long beach, coastal views and of course can see Catalina Islands directly ahead to the west. A constant breeze of the Pacific Ocean and the view of streets and activities below on multiple sides. There are multiple designated walking trails connecting to below areas, on the west and south sides The beautiful and awesome giant bell is in the middle which was a gift from S. Korea to the US. Free parking lot and gets really busy around 2pm, there is a small parking lot in the back as well with free bathrooms.

We are going to Port of Angeles so it happens I saw this on the Map. Its a nice place to hang around, mostly people walk with their dogs. It has a great view of the ocean. The Korean bell was massive and beautiful. Glad I stopped. Totally recommend it when you are in San Pedro.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place with stunning ocean views. One of my favorite spots to visit and take in the scenery. There’s also a fun playground area for children, which makes it enjoyable for families as well. I love visiting landmarks like this in California — they really reflect the state’s rich history, culture, and diversity.

I love coming here. My husband and I came here on April 19 of 2026 with our Dog Hopper to share his last day of life. We had meaningful quality time walking around and meeting a bunch of different people and everyone was so friendly. It was a very special day and I love that I have the space to come back to and remember him. He was a very good boy and a very good friend. He was 17 years old. I miss him every day. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to be loved so completely. It’s the best part of friendship.

Love coming to see the beautiful view of the ocean from Korean friendship Bell, its so peaceful to sit here and watch all God's creation. I have been coming here for the past 24 yrs. Its a very nice place for Sunrise, sunset views or just simple walks with the family.

Very serene with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is plenty of flat grass around perfect for a picnic. I think I even saw a basketball court.
