Texas State Tubes

This float was PERFECT. This part of the river is so magical. We brought our 3 young kids and they had a blast. I was worried about the tubes not having bottoms (listen, I don’t want a bruised butt, okay?) and they assured me that they were high enough that lifting up in the rapids was sufficient and they were right. The tubes were perfectly aired up and plump. They let our 5 year old ride in a cooler tube with a bottom. The shuttle was waiting as soon as we got off. We can’t wait to come back!

Great facility for tubing ! Clean easy access to San Marcos don’t struggle with parking just come here there’s free parking and if you want to be close up $15 . You can rent tubes but you don’t have to if you bring your own, . Majority of our group had tubes from Texas State tubes, and they didn’t mind two of our friends had there own. They were still able to come back with us on the bus, which is an amazing thing. Some places that can be rude and say no, and they were not being rude.This is our place moving forward.

Great people on the best river. You can bring your own or rent a tube, and one for your cooler if you don't have one. They have an air pump near the tubes, incase you need to add air to the tube you have.

It was very very fun. The staff were very helpful. The trip is quite long. But it was a lot of fun p. They even have coolers you can rent

Got there as soon as they open so there's no long line and easy parking. You pay & sign waiver while in line. Easy to get in water, careful with some rocks and to lift your butt, take a paddle so you don't bump into sides and pop your tube, very helpful, take umbrella, sunscreen,aqua socks, your own string if your tying anything to your tube and have carabiners to hook your tubes & other items like aqua socks together. Relax,eat & drink for about 4-5hrs.

This is my second time on the river but for sure the best experience. Booking online was a breeze all the way down to the check in point to grab my tube. However, within the first 30 mins two of the floaties we brought from home popped. We called the phone number we found on Google and they told us they would bring us the floaties at the first check point. When we made it to check point Sky was waiting for us and was so personable and kind and funny, she made this experience so easy for us after a stressful couple of minutes. After a couple minutes of waiting Desaix brought the new tubes. They also provided tips on how to keep safe moving forward on the river! Looking forward to coming back soon. Decent prices for the 3 hour tube trip. I appreciate the bus ride back up to the parking lot at the end of the tubing path. I really like that the three times I’ve been here, it’s way more family friendly than anywhere else. No drunk or rowdy people and a generally very easy current. I brought four 13 year olds here and it was a great setting. They all had a fun time without me worrying about drunk people and trash everywhere.
