Great place to stop and chill with a drink of anykind. I usually sit here and read, watch, or be on my phone while listening to the beautiful nature sounds and watch SLO life around the park. Very beautiful and has a huge creek through the middle which when it floods make for a scary yet exhilarating water slide.
Well kept. Play grounds are on the smaller side. Volleyball 🏐 nets are up and can definitely get a few games in. Nice pathways. Great place for a nice picnic.
Man back in the late 80's I skated the ditch at the far end of the park . Finally made it back years later and it's definitely no longer skateable. The rest of the park was nice. Other then a man that was very rude . He let his dog run free and didn't seem to care that it was jumping at my girlfriend. So be on the look out for a oddly dressed man . Other then that it was nice .
It was a big beautiful park! The play structures were definitely for older kids I have a 2year old he'll be 3 in June and he wasn't interested at all so we walked around and found this little garden! Even at this time of year it was beautiful!
Great park to hang out with your kids. Nice small walking path that goes in a circle. Good park for small kids and a secondary park with a small climbing structure. Basketball court, beach volleyball court, public restrooms (my only reason for 4stars is that sometimes there can be quite a few homeless people), picnic tables, and lots of shade.
Really nice park, plenty of shade and picnic tables if you get there early enough.
Beautiful scenery and trail. Peaceful atmosphere. Kid and animal friendly playground.
It can get busy over the weekend but on weekdays hardly anyone is here and it’s so peaceful. Great walk for kids and dogs too
