San Diego Automotive Museum

A nice stop for car enthusiasts, especially if you’re already exploring Balboa Park. The museum features a mix of classic cars and vintage motorcycles, and the rotating exhibits keep things interesting. It’s not a massive collection, you can comfortably see everything in about an hour, but the vehicles are well displayed and enjoyable to view up close. Worth visiting, just manage expectations about the size.

Great place lots of cars the restrooms are clean . There is also restrooms outside between the two museums . The shuttle has a stop here as well so if you parked far you can take the shuttle it stops every 15 minutes . Great place to come safe for that whole family . So many nearby attractions including museums , restaurants , gift shops and a whole lots of gardens and grasslands. This place is a true gem 💎. The zoo and amphitheater are also nearby come out and enjoy all that balboa park has to offer.

Its a decent museum but I think its more categored towards car enthusiasts and not general public. Decent number of displays were recent(2020s). The price for the ticket did not completely justify the total number of displays. There were couple of cars that one could get into but not enough.

There are some great displays. Mainly race cars. I wasn't too excited about it. We spent 20 minutes here. -Regina

Neat museum with a good variety of cars and motorcycles. Smaller and better for kids 7 and up. 20 bucks. Worth it

It is a nice smaller Automotive Museum. I thought it would be bigger at first with more cars, but it seems like they swap out a majority of the cars every few months or have a different theme every few months as well. I was lucky enough to go when the collection was Ferraris which was a cool sight to see. I do wish it was a large automotive museum with more cars to see though.

Pretty much just a big garage, which is cool but not a ton to it. They had some cool old cars and motorcycles, definitely check it out if you like that sort of thing!

Pretty small, but some nice cars on display. Perfect for an hour to look around and move on
