We had been wanting to come here for the longest time but couldn't get down to San Bruno. Once we finally did, we realized we should have made the journey so much earlier. The service throughout the meal was great and everyone just made you feel welcome. The decor and ambiance also make it feel like you're on vacation, with small touches that transport you. Plus the smells of the delicious food don't hurt either. We started with the Halloumi Cheese Roll which was a nice switch-up on texture. It could have used a bit more flavor but the crunch mixed with the cheese was a very good start. We also had the Tzatziki, the hummus, the tabbouleh salad, house pickles and the garlic potatoes as our various sides all which was very good. Everything packs a punch of flavor and goes super well with the warm soft pita. Also a super star for me personally was the mushroom skweres. Id never had that before but was a huge fan. Finally the mint lemonade is also SO FREAKIN GOOD. 100% can't wait to go back!!

It’s been two years since our last visit, and the place has been beautifully renovated. The interior feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed We ordered the lamb chops plate, which comes with basmati rice and two sides. Absolutely superb. The lamb chops were flavorful and perfectly cooked, with four generous pieces. The potatoes were crispy We also tried the lamb chops à la carte, but interestingly, the plate version was much better—juicier and not dry like the standalone order. For dessert, the pistachio milk cake was delicious, though a bit pricey at $8 for a small slice. Nice touch: they offer self-service spiced house tea, which adds to the overall experience. Overall, a very good dining experience. Slightly on the higher price side, but still worth coming back for.

Absolutely Exceptional – Never Disappointed! ​I normally have Mazra DoorDashed straight to my home, and even as delivery, it is consistently outstanding. Every single order arrives fresh, hot, and bursting with incredible flavor. They have truly mastered the art of takeout and delivery, and they have never let me down. ​The food quality here is on an entirely different level. You can immediately tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the execution is flawless. The meats are perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, and the sides are always rich and authentic. ​If you are trying to figure out what to order, you cannot go wrong with these popular highlights: ​The Kabobs & Meats: The beef and kofta kabobs are incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor. The lamb chops are cooked to absolute perfection, and the grilled chicken wings—especially when paired with their signature garlic sauce (toum)—are a must-have. ​The Sides: Their basmati rice is light, fragrant, and makes the perfect base for a meal. Both the hummus and the baba ghannoush are remarkably smooth, velvety, and perfectly balanced. ​Drinks & Dessert: To tie the whole meal together, I highly recommend adding a refreshing mint lemonade to your order. And whatever you do, do not skip dessert—their pistachio milk cake is absolutely decadent, rich, and the perfect way to finish a meal. ​Mazra completely lives up to the hype. Even if you are enjoying it from the comfort of your own couch, it delivers a five-star dining experience every single time!

The best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Seriously, cauliflower, lamb shank, kafta, and baba ganoush were all insanely good. We waited a bit to get a table for 3 of us on a weekday at 2:30pm which was very surprising but the taste explained why. I am still giving 5 stars because of the extraordinary food, but there is some disappointment. It’s one of the weird places where they ask for a tip “upfront” when it’s largely self-service(order with QR, water, etc). What are we supposed to tip for? They are ‘very’ understaffed, so service is lacking efficiency. Although the servers were nice, we needed to ask for ice three times. But yes, I will go back without doubt.

Making a three-hour drive to enjoy dinner at Mazra ended up being a disappointment. The restaurant is vibrant, energetic, and packed with diners. The menu offers an impressive selection of Levantine dishes, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. The cauliflower was outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The overall experience felt confusing and disconnected. Am I dining at a fast-food restaurant or a Mediterranean dining destination? Guests are expected to scan a QR code and place their own orders, water is self-serve, silverware was difficult to find, and despite having plenty of staff walking throughout the dining room, there seemed to be very little attention paid to the guest experience. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The cauliflower was excellent, but the falafel was disappointing. The hummus was simply unacceptable, and the fattoush bore little resemblance to a traditional fattoush salad. To top it all off, ketchup arrived in packets—McDonald's style—which perfectly summed up the disconnect between the restaurant's atmosphere and its service model. Would I make another three-hour drive to dine here? Probably not. That said, taste and expectations are personal, and Mazra is certainly worth trying for yourself. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this visit fell well short of them.

Pretty good spot for some halal Mediterranean dining. We got the garlic rotisserie chicken and beef shawarma plate. Both were good. Got a few sides including the hummus, garlic potatoes and fries and it was pretty good. The service is attentive and it's a nice restaurant to sit and eat in. The date banana shake is also quite good and refreshing. It is a busy and popular spot so might have to wait. The parking lot is quite small and that can be an issue.

all the food was yummy, as were the drinks! the vibe is very cute, but definitely recommend making a reservation if you want a table on a weekend. dine-in on a weekday was super easy, no wait for a table, and relatively quick turnover for the food! the beet dip, the shrimp kabob, and the steak street fries are on my 10/10 recommend list. i’ll be dreaming of those steak fries for a long time

Mazra is easily our go-to spot! The food is consistently amazing and tastes incredibly fresh every single time. Beyond the delicious menu, the staff is wonderful, always friendly, welcoming, and making us feel right at home. You can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do. Highly recommend!
