Highly recommend ❤️ I was genuinely surprised by how incredible this place is. Kimi’s Chop & Oyster House has officially become my favorite restaurant in Utah. We had been meaning to visit for a long time, and when we finally did - we came for brunch, and it exceeded every expectation. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exceptional. The food, the service, the atmosphere-everything was exceptional. I’ve traveled a lot and love trying new restaurants wherever I go, so I have plenty of places to compare it to. Honestly, Kimi’s is a true gem. After dining here, I didn’t even feel like going anywhere else. Every detail is thoughtfully done, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about the experience they create-from the quality of the food and customer service to the beautiful interior design. The restaurant itself deserves recognition for its elegance and attention to detail. We also had the chance to meet the owner, and it made the experience even more special. I wish I could fully put into words how impressed I was. This place is worth every penny. And the oysters and cocktails deserve their own paragraph. As someone who loves oysters, I know how difficult it is to find truly great ones in Utah.And the coctails were absolutely fantastic - better than cocktails I’ve had at many of the highest-rated bars in Utah. Kimi’s absolutely delivers. Fresh, delicious, and among the best I’ve had here. The quality of the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience is outstanding. If there were Michelin stars in Utah, this place would deserve consideration. I sincerely hope they open more locations because this restaurant is something special.

Our family has gotten to know Kimi over the greater part of a decade and we can honestly say, there is no better place to have a fantastic meal than this restaurant. The food is ever changing, though some classics like the crab cakes and meatballs are a must try. Another seasonal favorite: the orange crème brûlée. Beyond the food, the ambience is top tier and the service is genuinely exceptional—almost every one of Kimi’s employees has been around for years. Our family always come for special occasions and think you should too.

Flawless. The live music was so nice. The oysters were incredibly fresh. The server was so kind and attentive. Weather was perfect. We had the ahi as well as the salmon for entree and they were perfect. The cauliflower was very unique as a starter. I could have eaten 2 dozen oysters but thankfully I saved room for dessert- get the croliner!! We devoured it so fast I didn’t get a pic. Tysm!

The waiter was amazing and friendly. I really enjoyed the three course meal. Especially the salmon, mashed potatoes and jumbo shrimp! Would highly recommend going back. Thank you very much!

We’re new fans of Kimi’s. We’ve been a few times and the food has been consistently wonderful, the daily specials delightful, and the service comfortably attentive (shout out to Jeffrey who made our last experience memorable). We’re high maintenance big city east coasters and Kimi’s is on our short list of fav SLC spots. So glad we found it!

This is one of our favorite places in the city! As such, it is where we decided to celebrate my partner‘s 50th birthday party. We had people from all over the country flying in and rave about the experience. The staff feel like family and the booking process is effortless. It feels more like having dinner with friends than going out to a restaurant. While at the same time, dining with exquisite selections and Drink options. We could not recommend this place anymore!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Kimi’s Chop & Oyster House! From the moment we were seated, the service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and professional. Chef Matt’s culinary presentation was not only visually stunning but incredibly flavorful. Every dish looked like a piece of art and tasted just as impressive — from the fresh oysters to the beautifully plated desserts. The owner’s presence and hospitality made the experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and atmosphere hit perfection, but Kimi’s delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to return!

What can I say about Kimi's Chop House, only amazing things. Kimi hosted 16 of us for our Grandma's 96th Birthday Party and she went above and beyond. She worked with us directly on everything and did everything she could to make our Grandma's night so special! The food was outstanding, the service even better. The ambience outside was the best! There is not one single thing that I can complain about, it was incredible! I would recommend Kimi's to anyone looking for a great meal with amazing service!
